With a tapered aluminum shell and varied thickness of foam padding that lines the inner walls, your shotgun or rifle will be firmly secured in The Safety Scabbard at all times. This system also eliminates any abrasive rubbing action that could damage the finish of your valued shotgun or rifle. A section along the side of the aluminum shell has micro-tabs in the bottom of each of the two v-shaped grooves at the outer edge on the right side of The Safety Scabbard. These micro-tabs may be popped loose and the section folded out to allow additional space for the bolt-action rifles and automatic shotguns without removing the padded, water resistant liner.
