In my youth, I remember the Mr. Magoo cartoons, and due to his style of performing, Leslie Nielsen is probably the only actor who could pull this off on the big screen. There also was the inevitable spoof of the competition between the CIA and the FBI, and the movie also managed to parody the international intrigue of many movies. If we were going to identify a heroic character, it would have to be Angus the bulldog, and at times it appeared that Angus was the only character with a lick of sense. Then the scene where Mr. Magoo goes down a ski slope on the backside of an ironing board was hilarious. All in all, those who liked Mr. Magoo cartoons, would find this an entertaining movie.Roy M. It is awful to buy a video, wait for it, and have it come loose in its box. This did not happen here. It came in perfect condition and was a great addition to our video library. I would definitely not hesitate to buy videos here again.

It's not as funny as Wrongfully Accused, Airplane or the Naked Gun trilogy, but it's still pretty good. There are laughs to be had, when watching this movie. I'd say it's as funny & entertaining as Dracula Dead & Loving It. I can't remember a movie with Leslie Nealson that wasn't at least a little funny.

Mr. Magoo ist eine sehr gute Komödie mit Leslie Nielsen. Magoo ist eine extrem Kurzsichtiger reicher Dosenfabrikant. Er gerät ständig in kuriose Situationen in denen er weder bemerkt welches Kaos er verursacht, noch welche guten Tagen er begeht. Im Film wir auf einer Wohltätigkeitsveranstaltung ein Juwel gestohlen das Magoo in per Zufall in die Hände fällt, ohne das er es bemerkt. Die Räuber bringen es dann in Ihren Besitz und Magoo ist gezwungen es mit seinem Neffen wieder zu beschaffen, da man Ihm des Diebstahles bezichtigt.

Mr Magoo is funny on just the fact of being nearsighted.Driving his car around town,without glasses, makes it more funny,but not for anyone in the street.With the trusty help of Mr Magoos pet bulldog,life becomes more entertaining.When Mr Magoos nephew steps in to help with a prescription windshield, life changes when someone steals Mr Magoos car for a few minutes.A funny movie for all ages.
