This is not like the original seal. I find it a better seal. After installation it forms a round seal that can compensate for a slightly uneven floor.Installation was easier by removing the bottom plate (12 screws) on the garage door. It took lots of lube and patience to slide the entire 9’.The material is not as thick as the original seal but I’m happy with the installation.

Was unable to find an exact replacement for my 7' shed roll-up door. The door had a single track threshold seal. Tried other products without luck. They just would not fit the track and slide across. This one took a little finagling to get started. But once started it was a tight fit but slid across the bottom of door's seal slot. I worked it across the bottom of the door to the other side, it took less than 10 minutes. Even though not the exact part I needed it fit the bill and worked great! Flexible rubber and seals the bottom of the roll-up shed door. Appears to fit really nice and expect it to keep the weather out.

I have a 20 year old Clopay 8X7 door with a single channel seal. Couldn’t find a replacement seal and tried Amazon. There it was and it worked perfectly. I had to cut out the old and brick hard seal, but once I got the retaining channel cleaned it was pretty easy to install this one. I put a coating of WD-40 in the channel and was able to pull the entire 8 feet by myself with very little effort. Great product, good price, and delivered 7 days ahead of the “expected delivery date “. I’ll be looking at more of their products.

It's OK, and this style of Garage Door Bottom seems to be the only thing available. The rubber feels like it is thin and doesn't really create a good seal, particularly with a bit of an uneven surface. However, using American Ingenuity, I took the old one and fed it through the new one to create a tougher rubber seal.

The weather seal fits perfectly. I will purchase this one again when needed. I was able to slide the old seal off fairly easily from the track after hosing it down with the garden hose to loosen dirt. After removing the old seal I cleaned the track with a small brush and some soapy water. I spray cleaned track with water a sprayed the clean track with a soapy water solution and the new seal easily slid right into the track. It was a two person job. The whole process took around 40 minutes to complete and the bottom of the garage door now seals like against the cement floor.

It arrived quickly. It was a very easy install. It is much easier with the aid of a helper. I sprayed silicone in the track and lined up the two ends to form a T. I placed the leftover pieces inside the ends of the tubes. It works perfect and helps with the sound of the doors hitting the floor. It is just below a medium weight but it serves its purpose

This fit my old single channel Clopay door perfectly. I removed the aluminum retainer as suggested in a video (just a few screws and dipped the seal in soapy water before sliding into my freshly cleaned retainer. The whole job took less than 30 minutes by myself. Thumbs up to the seller for including about 6 extra inches to ensure a perfect fit. Hopefully it lasts a good while as I cannot speak to the longevity, but the price was much lower than other options.

This replacement part is no longer available in the big box hardware stores - and the option available required installing a completety new aluminum channel and weather seal - and was a unstable fit.Happily, we found the needed part on Amazon. It proved easy to install - by unscrewing the old channel and lying it on the garage floor; cleaning it; and then sliding the new channel in - then screwing it back up. Best done by two people. Door is much quieter now too!

It’s doesn’t fit the most common garage doors(steel line) here in Australia.
