Excellent piece of kit and easy to install.I fitted this to my Trek LT8 which I’m using on the road as I’m recovering from a serious speed flying accident. I was fed of hitting a wall when i reached 15mph. (Due to EU restrictions). I’m not part of the Lycra brigade and did not buy the chip to fly around everywhere. It allows me to comfortably ride a 18mph on the flat. The biggest difference I found was that after coasting down a long hill and picking up speed to say 25mph, I used to have to let the speed drop below 15mph before getting any assistance to pedal up the immediate steep uphills…. Not anymore:) it’s a pleasure to be able to keep the speed up going uphill. Nothing is free in this world and what you gain in extra speed assistance, you lose in battery range. On a 3 hr route I would normally have 2 bars of battery left. I now have only 1. A small price to pay for the extra fun and assistance. But something to bear in mind on your first trip out on your favourite route. You may end up with no battery power for the last leg home. Thoroughly recommend.

I tried to look for youtube tutorials on how this is done to gauge the complexity but couldn't find any specific to my bike - cube reaction pro 625 gen 4. But after becoming frustrated with the motor cutting out at 15.8mph i took the plunge. the chip arrived with in a couple of days and came with detailed instructions. It was simply a case of taking the cover off, unplugging two plugs and connecting an inline chip with two further plugs. It cable tied away neatly and the set up went smoothly. Took about 30 mins in total. So far so good and plenty of smiles :) I could comfortably maintain 30mph without pushing too hard on a windy day, easy potential for more but I'm not after top speed just more assistance when approaching a hill rather than gradually slowing down to 15.8mph. I would recommended this product!

Tried it out this weekend , and the additional speed was great on the roads.Would highly recommend

This has worked excellently on my Bosch powered MTB. I only use off-road but have ridden over 500 km without any problems. Very easy to fit and take off again. If you want to go faster then this does the trick.

Great way to get rid of speed restriction, working perfectly on Whyte 160rs

Great little device that quickly lets you flip between road legal and completely un-restricted. Very easy to fit to a gen 4 bosch motor in my case with nothing more than a screwdriver and a pair of side cutters.

All inizio funziona anche se ogni tanto si disinseriva o spegneva saltuariamente il sistema ( bosch cx 2020 con purion )adesso non permette piu l accensione, mi ha piantato in asso 30km lontano da casa con una ebike da 23 kg.credo l antituning di bosch lo abbia rilevato.installazione correttamente eseguita. sconsigliato.
