Greyhound STYLE Sleel Dog Grooming Comb

We have a labradoodle and his groomer recommended this comb. It works great! Especially on his ears. Highly recommend.

I would give this comb a 5 but have found combs with a handle easier on my arthritis. The teeth are very sturdy and go through to the undercoat on my Ragdolls and golden. It does comb a larger area than a comb with a grip so it might be perfect for bigger dogs or for those with longer hair. Great quality.

This is a very nice comb for the price. It has long tines and is very close to the Gray Hound combs that have not been available for a decade.I would and have all ready recommended this to a friend. I may end up buying one for then as a gift.Edit (3/31/14), I'm downgrading my review from 5 to 4 stars. I have noticed that the teeth of this comb are not as pointed as most of my other combs. So, it does not penetrate the pet hair as quickly as my other combs. But for the price, it is still hard to beat.

I expect that this comb will last for the lifetime of many dogs. It is really solid and well made. I was actually surprised at how heavy it felt when I first got it. I use it on a labrador to get out all of that loose hair that just seems to be constantly shedding from his coat. It is one of many tools in my arsenal against dog hair, but I use it almost daily. It has a loop at the top so I can attach a string and hang it, so it's never lost either. It's a must have.

We have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Buddy who is a wonderful dog and loved by the whole family. His fur does have a tendency to get matted and knotted, especially when he goes outside in wet weather. In particular his beautiful ears are prone to tangles and clumping. This comb has proved to be the perfect solution to keep Buddy's fur and ears nice in between visits from the mobile grooming van. It is the most effective by far of all the grooming combs we have tried and is extremely strong. It is good to be able to use the coarse side first to remove the large tangles and then move on to the fine side to finish the job.
