One of the best purchases we've made in a while. Bought a pair for me and my husband both. Work really great in snowy and icy conditions. Slip on and off fast and once you see the labels "front" and "back" they fit perfectly centered, then shake off the snow or dirt easily, then we toss in the truck to dry. Snug fit so they are not loose. I found the bag it comes with useful for when I'm not sure I need them and then I can add to my backpack just in case. Was able to still hike our path with icy spots. I didn't take a photo of them on but here is a photo of an icy trail I used them on and a short video of me wearing them on my boots on the trail going right through it and a partially icy bridge without thinking (you might hear the barred owls hooting in the background!) :) We went across a few similar icy wooden bridges and they didn't get stuck in the wood or do much damage. There is a rubber smell to them when we first got them but this seems to off-gas off quick after wearing them.

I ordered these a while back for an upcoming frozen lake event and finally had a chance to play with them. We got 5" of snow with a slight mix of ice. So I pulled these out and attached them to my shoes. My shoe size is a 13, so it took some tugging but over all installing was about a minute per shoe.Anyhow, these work extremely well! I walked around our drive which was mostly covered in ice and I never even notice it. I didn't have apply any deliberate downward force, i simply walked like I normally would and the spikes/chains did their job.

Way, way too small for my son's boots. Bought the XL "greater than men's size 10" and it wouldn't even begin to fit my son's size 13 winter boots. Maybe that's why it shows the item over a sneaker. I don't know about you folks, but where we live we have snow and ice and well below freezing temps---sneakers wouldn't cut it here. Ad says they fit over boots---but no way could we stretch them even partially over his boots. DON"T BUY unless your man has tiny feet and tiny boots.

These cleats seem like they would be suitable for even extreme ice conditions......IF they were big enough to apply to an adult's boot. I bought size XL which the info said would fit a men's size 10. No matter how I tried, I couldn't get them on my size 9 boot. It appears that they might only fit a kid's boot.

These cleats work wonderfully. I live in Montana and boy do we have ice. These fit snuggly and keep me from slipping. My old ones use to pop off when I walked sometimes. Not these. You couldn't find anything better for the price. I highly recommend them.

I got these for my boyfriend because he walks around at night for work and it's been super icy. He loved them, he wasn't flailing all about on the ice anymore -- but the second day of use, he was putting them on and one of them snapped around the plastic rubber bit which goes around the shoe and keeps it on.

A bit hard to stretch on ( maybe order a size larger?), definitely not easy on easy off when going inside to out. on hard surfaces I felt very unstable when wearing them. probably more for an application of constantly walking on ice.. Bukm's customer service is top notch. they made this purchase right with me.

Incredibly high quality, sturdy, perfect grip. I use them every winter (i live in Minnesota) and I confidently can venture into icy roads knowing that I will be safe.
