Like other Cardas products, these are beautifully made and work perfectly. Interestingly they offer amazing 100% resale value; when I accidentally ordered way more of them than I needed, I was able to sell on the extras for exactly what I paid for them. 100 years from now these will probably be treasured collector's items.

Five dollars each is more than I remember having paid several years ago by a wide margin. But this type of cap in other metals can corrode and become useless quickly. Worth the price.

These caps are high quality and well made. They fit snugly on the RCA plugs on my audio equipment. I swear they lowered the noise on my headphones but that's just my observation, don't take that for a fact. However, they do a fine job of protecting the RCA plug and keeping dust and grime out.

These are expensive but I like the quality and aesthetics. I also didn’t want gold caps for my unused RCA inputs/outputs so these work perfectly.

I'm a HiFi enthusiast whose stereo system cost more than his car did new. I go to great lengths (room acoustic treatments, expensive cables, vibration control, etc.) to optimize my system. I use and advocate caps and plugs for RCA outputs and inputs, respectively. I've even owned several Cardas cables and discussed acoustics in person with George Cardas himself!I'm sure these five dollar RCA caps are excellent. I'm an Electrical Engineer and I'm nearly as sure they help keep noise out of a system. I'm also nearly as sure that the one dollar (metal) RCA caps do just as well. So given that I have at least 50 of these hanging off the back of various electronics in my home where they are pretty much invisible, I've opted for the less expensive ones myself.Long live Cardas!
