UPDATED:Received replacement battery in May, and it has been working well! In fact, the charge lasts longer than expected. I used it last week and the charge lasted well over 30 minutes of continuous use. Merchant was understanding of my issue. Thank you!I bought this item 3x. First as a gift for a relative, 2nd for my parents but they didn’t use it enough and it died, and 3rd for us. I followed all the battery care instructions.1. Charge it fully.2. Let it rest for hours until it cools before charging again.3. Used at least once every 2 weeks (3x/week) so battery doesn’t drain on its own.4. Don’t use max power.But today my wife informed me the battery was dead. I assured her that if the battery care rules were followed, then it must be user error. She insisted I try myself. She was right. At full charge, it lasts for 3 seconds. Then after the light stops flashing, you can turn it on again for 3 seconds. Like a rat in a cage, I did this 6x over. I uninstalled and reinstalled the battery. Same. Checked to see if I could return it and just missed the last day to return by about 2 weeks (3/24/21 - today 4/6/21).Help me out guys!

the whole point was to restore my dyson back to its 10 minute hi vacuums but the batter lasted 2 times ... its back to not working at all ....Update Don Miguel reached out over email and asked to make it right ... He promptly sent me a new battery and its worked ... I would recommend a company that stands by their products . Batteries can be tricky and my dyson never lasted more than 10 minutes on the juice these batteries have ever so i'm good now ...Thanks Don M

This took 5 minutes to install and worked perfectly the first time. My official was a refurbished model vacuum and the battery died after only 2 years of use. I found the price of this very reasonable and it came with filters! Anyway it works perfectly and I've had zero issues with it

Battery did not last long, (about 5 months)

This is an update (11/22) -- bought in 12/20 and died on 11/22. We moved in June and stuff was in storage at room temperature for 4 months. Lightly used, and thus life is 19 months. It seems to me that it has a short life. My revised rating is one star because of its poor life.(review 12/20)This came in three days ago. I have charged it three times, each for about 20 hours. Does not hold charge. It buzzes and then dies down. It is either defective or is a used and exhausted one that has been shipped on purpose or by error. I sent a note to the supplier after its first failure, and thus far no response. Probably it is the holidays. I will update my review after I hear back about any possible solution. Mia from the company got back with the offer to replace it; that is nice of them. After the third discharge-charge cycle I got a five-minute run. A deep discharge followed by charging it the fourth and fifth time I got 13 and 14 minute runs. That is actually pretty good compared to the original Dyson battery. I am revising the rating to four stars because the battery did measure up. I wish they had a note in the package saying the battery's performance will reach its full potential after four or five charge cycles.

So everyone is right, doesn’t work on max. But lets be real, this Dyson is an over-priced dust buster on a stick. Was not going to pay Dyson $95 for their battery, which is out of stock anyway. It was 2 steps away from the garbage so I thought I would try this battery. For $32 it works great. Watched a quick youtube video and was super easy to remove old battery and install this one.

Came packed well ,good quality.Had to use the old screws,the new ones wete to small..

The price is right for a replacement battery for my Dyson V6. Good fit. Easy to install. Only thing I dislike is the over-volt protection is a little too sensitive. I can’t use It to clean off my couch cause the second it takes suction on the leather it shuts itself off. Which is kind of discouraging since the thing I liked about this vacuum was it’s power and ability to really draw things out of the nooks and crannies. Can’t do that anymore. Don’t get me wrong, it still has power, just a more difficult to utilize it. Could have done without that feature, lessened the tolerance.
