Zuzu Luxe Eyebrow Pencil (Russet)

This is the only brow pencil that I have used for many years. I have sparse brows as a natural dark blonde with hypothyroid issues, and I feel naked if I go out without a little brow filler. This one (Flax), works so well with my personal coloring, which is fair and warm with freckles, and I dye my hair strawberry blonde. It looks so natural, I get compliments on how well it matches my hair when people find out I wasn't born a ginger (it does happen to be my name, but not because of my hair!). My only complaint is that sometimes the "lead" in the pencil has broken due to being dropped or shipped poorly, or possibly an issue in manufacturing, which will lead to it breaking in several places when sharpening and precious millimeters get wasted. Of the at least 30+ of these pencils I've bought over the years, it's only happened a couple of times, so I make sure to keep a backup. The pigment is high quality, the pencil goes on smoothly without crumbling or feeling too greasy, and it stays all day. Can't ask for anything else!

I’ve been a fan of Gabriel products for at least a decade, now. They were my first vegan and more natural makeup products. I still am using them to this day. I have tried the liquid eyeliner, the mascara (my favorite), the nail polish+polish remover, and now I am trying this brow pencil. I had been using a gel before but I found that I like pencil better for more better shaping and definition. I’m happy I got this! I got the fig color and it’s a light brunette color, which is what I like for my eyebrows to match my hair. I like the consistency. It goes on really nice and smooth. I think it would be hard to mess it up as long as you don’t press down too hard. This will last me a long time.

Edit: First review after purchasing 5 times straight in 2 years. I care about my chick and wanted to get her makeup that won't make her all sick and filled with toxins, so did tons of research and found this. Made her throw away the toxic stuff and helped her source cleaner brands. The stuff in CVS, Walgreens, etc just was crazy talk on the labels as far as the ingredients go. Picked this after looking and looking for more healthy alternatives. She likes it, have ordered about 3 or 4 of these over the past couple years. So you have a legit 2-year user here. She looks good with it on (and off ;) ) and leaves the box on my computer when she needs another pencil. Enjoy!

I couldn’t wait to try this product. It went on as smoothly as could be; however, the “flint” color on me was very light gray, not the medium/dark color I was expecting so I had to return it. Because of the consistency of the product and the ease and speed of applying it, I will definitely try a darker shade. Unlike some brands, though, there are only a minimum of color choices.

So I really love this brow pencil, but it took me a min to find the color I wanted. I’m a natural strawberry blonde with blonde lashes/brows, so the flax was probably the most accurate, second would be russet. They have red undertones, but when I wear black mascara I want my brows to be more of an ash blonde to compliment them. I think when I use fig very lightly, that’s the best option for me. If I press too hard it looks too dramatic though. I was looking for a clean/vegan brand to replace my Anastasia Beverly Hills medium brown pencil, and I think fig is the closest to it! Very happy with how it goes on, and stays on. Great find!

Nice and smooth

This is my ‘go to’ eyebrow pencil, I’ve been using it for years. Great color, great quality, and clean of toxins. Love it!

I have been on a quest so that all of my makeup and clothes compliment my cool toned, fair skin (I’m a soft summer color palette) and this eyebrow pencil works amazingly well to match my dark ashy blonde hair because it’s so cool. This color is truly hard to find because most brow pencils are so warm.
