I love this puzzle! The Mid Century Modern artwork is so amazing and fun! The puzzle pieces are cut in so many interesting shapes, which added to the puzzling experience. Very clever and different. I've just purchased another Hennessey Puzzle by the same artist --- trailers! I can't wait to get it!

My husband and I have gotten really into puzzles during quarantine. We've enjoyed a lot of the Disney villain puzzles, but we were looking for something different. Since we love all things mid-century modern, this puzzle appealed to me the moment I saw it. It arrived very quickly. There was very little "puzzle dust." Bottom line: we have really enjoyed this puzzle!! As you can see from the pictures, the pieces are shaped a little differently than those from your average run-of-the-mill jigsaw puzzle. Some puzzle pieces are smaller than average, and others are a little bigger. It definitely makes for a good challenge, as the pieces fit a little differently. It requires a little more brain power, and keeps us from knocking out a puzzle in 2 evenings (as has been the case with some other 1000 piece puzzles we've purchased). We've enjoyed that aspect of the puzzle, but it may not be for everyone so just be warned. The colors are very vibrant, and the details in the photos are really good. I've already put in an order for another puzzle by Hennessy Puzzles (Tiki Time) because I like this puzzle and the style of it so much. If you're looking for a jigsaw puzzle that's a little different, then I recommend this one. I am beyond happy with this purchase.

This is a really great puzzle art wise. I do have a few gripes. Number one…an illustration of the puzzle that hasn’t been enlarged a bit is useless for us that have a problem seeing detail. Yes, I know some of the really advanced puzzlers don’t bother looking at cover. Most of us do use it as a guide. The other gripe is the quality. Just a bit fragile for the price. A few pieces were bent. So all in all this is a really cool puzzle. Get ready to use your magnifier to get important detail. It you like mid century anything this puzzle will make you smile. The artist has included plenty of our other friends…..meow and arf! Another plus…there is an introduction to the fine artist who painted these. Buy it.

This puzzle is a great project for people who really like detail-oriented puzzling. I love Hennessy puzzles because they're challenging, but very interesting too because of all of those little details. I felt a little frustrated with this puzzle because I found myself referring back to the puzzle "map" (the printed picture of the completed puzzle) for nearly every piece. I had trouble making educated guesses about where each piece went because there are so many nearly identical lines, shapes, and colors. This is a personal preference, though-- I like to just zone out while doing a puzzle, and not concentrate like I'm studying hard, but your mileage may vary! The pieces also didn't fit together very easily, almost as if whatever jigsaw cut them wasn't sharp enough or something. (I have not had this problem with other Hennessy puzzles.)All that being said -- this is still a fantastic puzzle. There are so many clever little details, the colors are amazing, and the subject matter is very interesting. I certainly recommend this puzzle with the caveats listed above.

I received this puzzle in good shape. My first reaction when I saw the pieces is that there are some weird shapes and that it would take me days to put it together. I became obsessed with it and made it by myself in two nights! I've made puzzles with less pieces that took me days to finish, so maybe this one was a little easy for me, but I had a lot of fun. The pieces are sturdy and stay together nicely. It's really frustrating when you have a few pieced together and go to move them into place and they fall apart. I love the pictures and don't want to take it apart just yet. It came with a separate picture to use instead of the box, the only problem is that the left edge is cutoff, so I was a little confused until I looked at the box. I would purchase another puzzle from this brand, most likely the Vintage Retro Trailers.

I haven't bought a puzzle in years, but this one is hands-down the best one I've ever assembled. Not only are the odd-shaped pieces fun, the artwork never gets boring because the artist has been meticulous in keeping the textures just different enough between scenes that it's easy to tell when you're trying to put a piece in the wrong section altogether. Very addictive and enjoyable; we put it together over the course of the first four days we had it. I'll definitely be looking at Hennesy puzzles and this artist for my next puzzle purchase​.Update on 2/14/18 - A few months ago we were at a funky resale shop and discovered what looked like the original painting of one of the scenes in this puzzle for sale at a decent price. Went home, put this puzzle together again to confirm, YES! Had to pick it up, along with another of the artist's original MCM paintings there.

Yeah, that headline seems ridiculous, but it is the truth. I love mid-century anything, so obviously the pictures sucked me in. This was a bit more than I wanted to spend on a puzzle, but it was worth it. Not only is the picture amazing, but the puzzle quality itself is also magnificent. There were so many unusual shapes and sizes, it made the puzzle so much fun to put together. I will be buying from this company again. I cannot say enough nice things about it. I am a little sad that I am finished with it.

Loved doing this jigsaw and I am actually going to frame it.Not the best quality pieces, but I could be being picky as I had just finished one that was higher quality.Love the Artist's work though.
