DONT buy for animal needs but a good product otherwise
I hope this isn’t an unfair review, I just don’t want someone to make the same mistake but I’ll explain myself! I bought this to keep newborn puppies and lambs warm. The problem for that use is it works on a timer and the maximum time is an hour so useless for animal husbandry.It’s well made and easy to use and I’m sure it’s great for human use, I can’t fault it for any other reason. Can’t comment on the pain relief either as not bought for that reason.

Good lamp, but things missing and Chinese only?!?
My lamp arrived 'on time' this morning, despite the fact that the tracking says it is still in China!! The lamp seems to work well upon initial testing and that is comforting.However, the instruction "sheet" shows that there are supposed to be wheels for the lamp, and none were included in the battered box that arrived today.Also the little remote control, despite its battery being shielded and included, does not do anything/does not work when I remove the shield. The battery IS inside.The buttons on the lamp and the remote control are all in Chinese with no instructions on the sheet nor the lamp and remote in English. There is also no explanation as to why one needs to put water into the base?!?

Used this item a twice this week and kept getting a unusual smell, for it to start smoking when I had it on for 10 min causing this damage to the unit .. Their was packing card in behind the bulb that I knew nothing about. If I had left the lamp on and not been in the room I would have had a fire on my hands .. Definitely going back for this reason alone as no proper instructions on unpacking the product..

Some easy assembly required.
The lamp arrived well packaged and on time. It's construction is sturdy and the assembly instructions clear. It was easy to use and gave relief to painful areas of the body with heat. Thanks.
