Irish Pub jam sessions at their best!!
I just got back from spending a joyous trip to Ireland including a grand time in Dublin including staying days in a condo right across the street from the Cobblestone Pub. Live traditional Irish music is played there by an assortment of musician ranging from the old to the young most of the day and late into the might. This was one of most memorable experiences I have ever had listening to a wide variety of people spontaneously get together and then make music. I searched for a recording or recordings to recapture some of that experience and this recording is the closest that I found. If you are not going top get there for the real thing this is one of the best alternatives.
