Yes it works but it’s not “turn key”
Two things. Your factory fob may be glued together so take your time as to not damage the board inside. The battery hatch side may need to be pulled and nipped away with pliers. Second you can not use the factory key pivot and release button. You must knock out the roll pin with a 1/16” punch(or cut a drill to make a punch pin). Swap the key into the new pivot. Or you can have the key cut $$$$?. Lode the board, key assembly, lock button and spring down into the rear of the front case . Engage the back case on to the spring and wind counter clockwise to tension the flip out function then lower into place. Make sure you do this in a place where you can find the pieces when they go flying like small bathroom. Close the sink drain lol!

Won’t fit factory cut key
I have ordered another replacement from another vendor that did not have the Chevy label. It fit the factory key and board fine. This one the factory key did not fit. I did not have time to return it and order another. Had to modify this one with an exacto knife to get the factory key to fit in the case and swivel as intended.

Its not a perfect fit if your replacing the key too
This was almost perfect. The only problem I had is that the slots of the actual key were slightly smaller causing the old key not to lock in place. The board fits and the key will flip up it just wont stay closed. If all your replacing is the key fob and don't need the key then get it. But if you use the key part and need to replace the fob I'd wait for them to fix it or find something else

Be prepared to copy your key
I was in need of a new fob because one of mine the button wore out. I had hoped for a 1 for 1 replacement, this was not exactly that. While it will do the job the pieces are not interchangeable at all. The only thing used from the old remote are the internal workings. The metal key is even tooled differently so it does not match the new fob. I have to still take my keys to a locksmith to have them cut because most key cutters wont handle this type of specialized cut.Overall Im pleased with the ease of use, just wish I had been prepared for the differences.

So worth it!
Works great! Took the new key fob apart, took everything out of my old key fob (Circuit, battery, key), put everything into the new key fob and it worked great!! Only had to watch a YouTube video to help out with the process. (Chevy Sonic 2013)

Key hard to take a part and hard to put back togethe
The key comes very hard to open you have to almost tear it up to get the key to open to transfer the transmitter over. There is not a really a purpose for the small screw driver because I had to use a flat head and butter knife to get the key to come apart. Why not send the key in parts so it won’t be super hard to open. Uggghhhh my hand still hurts from opening the key.

Good Product
Original key fob difficult to open. I used a Dremel to cut outside edge of old key fob. Take care not to cut into printed circuit board. Used a small diameter nail as a punch to remove key blanks. One or two turns should put enough tension on spring loaded key to enable key to pop open.

Different than Original Chevy Fob
Overall works well, however if you are trying to switch the motherboard and key the motherboard goes in perfect however the key will not fit as slight variation in machining on key tabs. Had the take pin out of old key and fit into new base and make a new roll pin as it will not go in due to machining difference. All in all good product would be perfect if just switching motherboard and getting the key laser cut
