When specifications and exactness matter...
Humidistat accuracy matters. When you need to monitor a humidor, this humidistat will provide for your needs. Fitting as advertised, this humidor immediately informed me if I was meeting my cigar humidity specifications. When compared against a digital humidistat, I was completely satisfied.

Took a minute to get them stable, otherwise great.
Great analog hygrometers. Tested against a digital. The gold one came out of the box great. 5hebsilver took a week to accurately calibrate.

You need to calibrate it
It is not 100% accurate, but it is accurate enough to be worth its price. The gold and the digital hygrometer are measuring the same humidor box. The silver is measuring a tupperdor. All three hygrometers were calibrated together at the same time to 75% using the salt test. All three showed 55% humidity after I took them out of their calibration environment so I know they are responding to their environment, which is the important part. Need to know if your cigars are losing humidity? These will let ya know!

Accuracy
I didn't take a picture but I placed these 2 along a digital reader and all was spot on the reading...repeated 2x and still spot on. Thank you fir a solid build product.

Just Guessing
Price is right to experiment & fail or succeed I guess… received two as ordered, one gold one silver. They read differently. Bought to test the digital hygrometer of my humidor. However, if I adjust them once acclimated to the environment of my humidor & use the digital readings to calibrate then I find myself at square one and in the middle of some Abbot & Costello, who’s on first, situation… oh well fml 😩

Very Accurate After Initial Calibration
Both units had the same reading out of the box. I placed both units in an air tight sandwhich bag along with a 69% Boveda humidity pad (60 grams). After 24 hrs both units showed 66% humidity. I simply corrected to 69% using the calibration screw on the back of each unit (small screw driver). Before I purchased these, I tried two different brands: both digita. Both were off 8-10 points. I use these to keep premium cigars at 69% humidity. Plus,,, these are much less expensive than the digital. Much greater accuracy at a much lower cost.

Gauges have a different reading - Waiting for manufacturer's response.
I bought 2 Pieces of Hygrometer Analog Mechanical. Regretfully, the humidity Gauges give me an 8º to 10º reading difference under the same environment over a few days. This product has good reviews, and I want to ensure this is an isolated case. I ordered a replacement. Is there a way to re-calibrate these products? Unfortunately, I did not receive any instructions on the items.A few days later, I received the replacement units (2) and returned the defective product. The manufacturer sent a response, "All units have a ± 3%, and then changed it to ±5%I understand some units may fail; however, the manufacturer should be straight when answering a question, "rather than fighting the facts, SEE THE NEW PICTURE AND EXPLAIN THE RESULTS?The highest difference is 22% - Please note the units are aligned as I received them. Whichever you choose, they are all different and unreliable for expensive cigars.

Nice but not accurate
Bought these in a two pack, sitting side by side on a table and they have different readings.
