For the money, this is a great first bike. Fair amount of power and fun to ride street and moderate trails.Easy to assemble. I would recommend taking it in to optimize the derailleurs.I'm a small time biker looking to do longer rides. This is perfect. Hills and headwinds are not a problem. I'm taking longer rides with more enjoyment.2020, June 17, update: I suspect it won't be long before this thing pays for itself. I use it for fun, exercise, running errands around town, and going to work. I'm using my vehicles a lot less. I have child trailer that use as a utility trailer (groceries and my tools). This thing pulls it and carries my 217 lbs self no problems.As a side note, expect this bike to get noticed. It's common for people to ask about and compliment it at stoplights and trailheads.One minor drawback is the tires seem to have worn quickly. This isn't even necessarily a bad thing. These tires are best suited for paved roads. I'm going to put on something better for light trails and street.Overall, I am thrilled with this purchase and would highly recommend. Happy travels!

I was excited to ride this bike for the first 2 days. All downhill from there. Tube in my rear tire pop twice within one week. Got the tire replaced at a local bike shop. The following week the front tire blows. front light broke off cause the battery kept hitting every time I hit a light bike. I can't even say this bike will hold up in light gravel let alone a cemented bike trail. Piece of junk. Heavy as heck, more than 50lbs. battery last 3/4 of what is listed. I'm 5'4" 170lbs. The motor could barely carry me up a small hill. you get what you pay for. Do yourself a favor, do not buy an ebike from amazon. I've done the research and all ebikes sold through amazon are low quality.

So I decided to buy this bike becuase I needed to travel to and from work 7 miles each way.. The functionality of the bike is great.. The assembly was tough cuz the tools that were given stripped on me trying to release the front wheel.. The square tires are dangerous on certain cracks as I already had and accident on it .. You cant hit hard bumps going fast or you might disconnect power from the controller part in the middle which left me stranded.. Also it only goes so fast I have to pedal on the highest gear plus throttle to got at least 15 mph ... But overall it does the job it needs toThe battery should have a different place other than handle bars.. Also there is a bar by the rear derailleur so if you bump that hard enough you wont be switching gearsAlso when you hit 2 lights on the bike your battery is gone just give up after that .. And the wire connecting to the battery is extra long so it might get scraped up on your front wheelAlso the speed limiter comes disconnected already so it's max potential is not so great.If your looking for speed I suggest buy a higher end bike than this the upgrades alone will cost more than just buying a good one upfront

I've immidietly had to upgrade the tires ( one went flat on the first ride.) and I would have immediately replaced the disc brakes but the shop that could do the job in my area was backed up with work.

This is my first year bike and I was hoping that it would be good. I have been very pleasantly surprised. I have had a ton of fun with the bike and love the electrics. You have the option of either pedal assist in three different speeds slow, which I find the best, medium which is really quite fast and fastest which is very fast And you will be peddeling in the highest gear going quite fast.You also have the option of just electric bike only with the throttle affect like a motorcycle, it’s not Super powerful In the electric only but fun.I don’t ride super long distances but my general rides during the day of an hour and half leaves me with a ton of battery left. The Battery last me three days of using it in pedal assist low speed.I haven’t use the ability to fold at all yetI thought the placement of the battery on the handlebars was silly and when I realized there were two screw holes available in the frame for a water bottle holder I added two strips of aluminum plate with bungee cords through them and put the battery there works great!In summary I’d give this bike a five star I really love it as my first E bike and I would buy it again.

Dont buy this bike, it is way heavierthat what they said. Bike looks good at first look, instructions are not clear we had to watch videos on YouTube to know how to assembled it. First ride the front light felt in pieces and break dowm on the floor, also when I change the speed the pedal pressure makes the chamber get out of place, cheap set material , realky painful rides on it, the accelerator and handbard also is made of plastic so at the end of the ride you're going to have hands and wrist pain. And worst of all on second ride the bike started to make a really loud and weird noise as soon as the wheels started rolling... it just stops if I press the brake at the same time that I'm pedaling but that means you can not advance faster if you have to hold the brake all the time to avoid the loud and noise sound... also when you fold the bike it doesn't have a lock or something that keeps the bike folded stable... just habe a standing piece that in the minimum move let the bike fold to the floor.

I'm riding at a pace that I rode 20 years ago. The additional push when hill climbing is like having a hand in the middle of your back. A great price compared to some e-bikes that offer similar features but $1000+

the box the bike came in was repackaged. The parts for the bike were scattered loosely across the bottom of the box. There was no invoice,. there was no parts list, warranty papers, or operation manuals. I was able to assemble the bike. When I mounted the battery, I discovered the battery was upside down in the pouch. I removed and turned the battery to the correct position. When the battery was turned, I noticed damage to the battery. I asked for a replacement battery but did not get a reply. Speeded wanted me to ship the bike back at my expense.
