Since my review was only meant to inform potential customers of a rare flaw, I did not accept.A simple ferrite choke will solve an RFI issue IF you do have one.Please don't let this wonderful company refund the purchase price for something you can solve for a couple of dollars extra (or technically free if you are choke your entire system and buy ferrite bead chokes in bulk.) The folks are wonderful at customer service and sell good products. An occasional, minor QC error should be forgiven."Maybe it is just the one I got, but I had some very high RFI when using the fan.It's a little louder than I would like and makes a great stand despite the RFI issue.It does a great job of keeping the radio cool when needed. This has not been an issue thus far, but I'm told that the radio does get considerably hotter when using digital modes so, I keep my fan just in case.I just recommend some testing if you develop an RFI issue after attaching this fan to your radio. It might just be the fan."

I recently purchased this little fan for my 'G90 Ham radio and it works like a champ. My 'G90 power plugs into the fan mating connector and that in turn plugs into my 12vdc power supply connector. The buckle and Y fitting on the fan enclosure keep the radio attached even under heavy vibration that you're portable application might offer. But if you just want to set the combo on your desk, the flip-down legs allow for that venue as well. Very nicely packaged, durable and modestly priced.

The legs seem a little gimmicky but they work. I do like the Anderson power pole connectors in parallel with the little G90 stock one. I have found that leaving the legs folded up and just resting the front on a plastic cap works well for my use. The bottom is metal so I layered some electrical tape around the bottom edges to prevent it from scraping whatever it is set on. I noticed that some reviews mentioned no fan grill. Mine came with a well made bottom fan grill/cover. The fan runs at low RPMs unless it starts getting hot, then can ramp up if needed. The low RPM air flow works and does keep the heat fins much cooler.Edit added 06/15/21; One thing to be aware of, as mentioned in other reviews, the fan is always on, even when the radio is off. Though relatively low current, the fan will drain a battery if not disconnected.

It's a fantastic upgrade for my Xiegu G90! I actually really do like it. Putting it together was fairly simple and to the point and it cools the radio just fine. Ran many hours of heavy cycle FT8 and other digital modes and the radio was cool. Make sure you do attach the included brackets to secure the radio to the holder. It'll secure it more and also give the temperature sensor more accurate temps.I also really like that it has power pole connectors which can then be used to power the radio in addition to the fan.Overall well worth the price and strongly recommend!

Works with G90 as it should

Like the title says it’s not bad. Really needs three and a half stars. The good.very easy fit to the radio,sets it up and has cooling fan. Not so good. The legs r flimsy. Not too bad ,the fan runs all the time. I was under the assumption it was controlled via temperature.Mine,not so. Good ,it does have a set of anderson power poles,haven’t checked them out yet.So bottom line,is it worth the money ,no. Does it cool the radio ,yes and the fan is very quiet. Is it over priced. Yes. 35 bucks would be about right. Would I buy again? Probably not.

Purchased this at the same time as the G90, many have said this is a must have. I couldn't agree more, it works very well. The G90 is a very capable unit for what it is, don't expect a FT-991A or a IC 7300. The radio does get very warm especially using it for CW or digi. and this fan unit does help mitigate the heat, as it should.

Il G90 è una splendida piccola radio, che però tende a scaldarsi soprattutto durante l'utilizzo dei modi digitali. Con questa base l'apparato rimane sempre alla giusta temperatura anche se utilizzato continuamente per un'ora. Certo, peso e ingombro della radio aumentano un po' creando un lieve disagio per le operazioni in portatile, ma ne vale comunque la pena! La versione che mi è arrivata aveva la griglia di protezione sulla ventola, rendendo impossibile l'andarci a sbattere (come si è lamentato qualcuno)

Perfecto para el control de la temperatura del G90, lleva protección del ventilador por la parte baja, lo he usado en varias activaciones de una hora y media a plena potencia y el equipo permanece frio todo el tiempo.
