Red Heart 146-8110 Sizzle Crochet Nylon, Ivory

This product is expensive but really adds a lot to solid color yarns for hats and headbands. I did run out, however, so you will need 2 rolls to make a hat, working with one strand of worsted and one strand of this.

Being a solid fan of Red Heart Crochet Nylon 18, I remain disappointed that it only comes in black and ivory--I want colours! So I'm hunting for an alternative to monochromes; I couldn't find anything telling me the size or diameter of this thread, so I bought it hoping...but it's really too thin for my taste. I'll use it for something, but it's not got the heft or hand I wanted. Even doubled, it doesn't work for my project; if you crochet in the tiny-size threads, this might be robust for you. Nice product, but I want more body. I want my Red Heart 18 in colours!

I purchased this nylon thread because the competitors was not as shiny. I have worked with nylon thread in the past and the sheen makes a difference. The shine makes a project much more elegant. I wish the white and black came in larger spools because these acrylic paint bottle size spools are not going to go far. Also I am going to be left with a lot of spools to find something to do with.Thanks for the great shipping Amazon.

Red Heart has a standard spool of thread in great colors. This is smaller and more expensive

This will be a reorder for sure. It thread is beautiful. The picture does not do it justice. I will be using it with solid colors and on it's own because it has all the bright colors in it. Still wished they made it in larger spools. Now all I need is more time and 4 more arms.Perfect Shipper, Thanks Amazon.

I found this yarn very difficult to work with. I generally worked with the regular nylon and have no issues. This yarn kept twisting into tight little balls along the yarn and I had to continually untwist them.

extremely small thread size. Almost equal to size 30 crochet thread. Suggested crochet hook size B1/2.25m but would probably need a 12 or 14 small metal crochet hook.

This thread is nice, but it doesn’t look anything like the picture. The picture shows a baby blue/light blue crochet thread. What I received instead is a bright dark teal crochet thread. I initially thought I was sent the wrong item but quickly verified that the label was correct. If I had known this would turn out to be a bright dark teal shade, I wouldn’t have bought it. I needed baby blue for a bead crochet bracelet I was making with 4mm beads. I wound up having to buy different thread. I gave this thread 3 stars for the colour being misrepresented. Otherwise, I would have given the quality of the thread 4 stars. For those of you who use s-lon, don’t expect this thread to replace it. If the colour had been accurate, I would have rated this thread 5 stars given the price. I love teal, but this shade will be quite challenging to use...

Not what I was expecting. Will keep for stitching faces on or something. Very thin nylon yarn. I was expecting a thicker guage, more of a yarn type thing than thread.I pictured this as maybe a Pepsi can size spool, but this is less than half that size. I'm not sure why I didn't expect thread.

This is thread. Not yarn. It’s no we’re near a number 2. It’s like a zero. It’s no bigger then an spool of thread. I felt like I was deceived. I was expecting a much larger skein with much thicker yarn. Not sewing thread, which this is equivalent too. Very disappointed. They should take photos with an actual object for size perspective. Cause it’s very deceiving !
