The primary usage for cinnamon in my household is as an addition to morning oatmeal. I just dump it in straight, without measuring. (The oats have enough sweetness on their own that no sweetener is needed.)Flavor-wise, this was quite similar to the Korintje Cinnamon in the massive jar from Whole Foods (or to McCormick cinnamon, etc.). The packaging does not specify whether this is Cassia, Korintje or Ceylon cinnamon, but it tastes more like the Cassia or Korintje. (Korintje cinnamon from Indonesia is the most well-known form in the US and has a stronger flavor than Ceylon cinnamon.) If you are buying this for baking, adding to cereals, etc., this product here at this listing will suit you just fine and will be familiar if you have an American palate.If you are taking cinnamon for health reasons, however, the type of cinnamon represented by this product listing is likely to be higher in coumarin than Ceylon cinnamon and you may want to switch to Ceylon cinnamon instead.Also of note: although this tasted like other mass market cinnamons I've tried, the fragrance was noticeably stronger with this product. I could smell it from quite a bit farther away. So if you really like the cinnamon smell, this product could definitely work for you!Please note there appears to be a discrepancy in the product description (probably a cut-and-paste error), because it talks about turmeric. I waited to open this until I was near being out of our Simply Organic Cinnamon (which we love), and this Chloris Lively Organic Cinnamon Powder is TERRIBLE - tastes like sawdust with very little cinnamon flavor, at all. I wasted hard-earned money on this purchase.

This is a bag of organic cinnamon, ground into a powder. The bag is resealable and the spice is one that has many uses. This comes from India. This bag is a good value and a great way to support organic agriculture. The cinnamon smells and tastes great. One weakness with this package is that it does not identify which variety of cinnamon this is. Since it is fairly inexpensive I would guess it is Cassia and not Ceylon cinnamon, but whichever it is should be stated on the package. I was provided a free sample of this for my honest, unbiased review.

Fresh and spicy smelling cinnamon. I haven't researched far enough yet to tell what variety (or blend) of cinnamon this is, but it is aromatic, warm and will mix in well with whatever baking or chai you may want to make. Well priced and good quality cinnamon. I received a sample free in exchange for an honest review.

This item was sent to the Demo Man at little or no cost for my honest and valued opinion.Very good quality Cinnamon, quite fragrant in an easy to open package that just as easy to reseal. This is a perfect way to offer excellent quality cinnamon at a great organic price. It's worth knowing there are no pesticides, dirt or debris in the product. Excellent spice!
