Beautiful sweater and quality!

I love these cardigans, so much so that I've bought my daughter 4 of them in different sizes and colors as she's grown. I highly recommend them but unless your child is on the petite side I'd consider sizing up! My daughter started wearing a 3t in this sweater when she was about 19 months old. Mind you, my daughter is VERY big for her age (99th percentile for height, 89th for weight) so she was already 35" tall and maybe 27 lbs at that point. Still she was wearing a size 2t in most clothes at that point yet required a 3t in these. She's now 24 months and fits a 4t in these and I'm thinking of ordering her a size 5 just so she can have some grow room in the next one(s.) I think it's safe to say these run about a full size small. These sweaters are stretchy though so one can get away with wearing them when they are small.PROS: these are so cute! I prefer sort of classic, even old-fashioned looking clothes for my daughter. These are timeless! This sweater could pass for a sweet vintage design. I think my mother had similar cardigans when she was a tot in the 1940's and I had some like this when I was a kid in the early 1970's. I can imagine Shirley Temple in one of these! These wash beautifully in cold water if you hang dry. They're surprisingly durable and have surprised me with how stain resistant they are. My daughter spilled soy sauce all over a light pink one of these and the stain 100% came out after I immediately doused it w/ cold water. These are also nicely constructed and I've never seen an errant stitch or loose button. Another huge pro is these come in a wide range of solid colors including black! I'm always surprised at how difficult it can be to find basic black garments for young kids. Kudos to Ruffle Butts for carrying this in black!CONS: as stated above, these do run small. These run smaller than cardigans made by Carter's, Baby Gap, Gymboree, Jojo Maman Bebe, and Tea Collection. If you're familiar w/ cardigans made by J. Crew Kids (or Crewcuts) I'd say these are sized more like that brand, small overall but they do have stretch/give. These are also a bit on the pricey side. I tend to snatch them up when they go on sale. But even when not on sale they tend to be worth the cost IMO.I pair these w/ the brand's absolutely adorable ruffle leggings in matching colors and this combo is just superb looking. My daughter gets tons of compliments when she wears these together. These cardigans are extremely versatile as you can dress up a pair of leggings or jeans and a tee w/ one of these or use one of these as the most perfect layer over a fancy dress.In fact, my daughter will be wearing a pink one over her Easter dress this year! :)

Not the cheapest cardigans but just buy one size up to wear longer. These are super cute, can be worn with casual or formal clothe, are super soft and durable and wash well. I bought my daughter a white one for the spring season and she’s worn it at least 2-3 times a week, so we got our moneys worth.

Beautiful sweater! Great quality and the ruffles just give it that extra something! Daughter loves it! She is a thin almost 6yrs old little girl. The size 6 fits her with room to grow.

Super Cute. Ordered for family pictures. My daughter was 21 months in photo (and is in 80th percentile on height and weight) and is wearing the 18-24 mo. size.

smaller than expected

I bought one of these cardigans last season for my little girl in purple, and I decided to get some more for this year. Great weight for layering and adorable with the cute ruffles in front. My daughter is almost 5 and the size 5 in black was perfect. I'd love one in every color actually.
