These fit perfectly into the old rubber sockets (that I did not replace). These lights were exactly the same size as the 2.5" lights I replaced. The plug fits nice. The lights come with sealant grease already installed so you just connect the plug and it is all sealed and ready to go.

The first pair I got had two of the LEDs out on one of the lights which they refunded and exchanged. So check them before you throw the box away. The second and most important is these did not fit the standard holes on my PJ tilt bed trailer that has the industry standard connectors. Fortunately, I was able to use my old rubber grommets. It does not matter how much rubber you trim off. I even cut a section out to make them smaller and they still did not fit. The problem is the grommets are too thick where they go over the metal lip making the hole too small for the light no matter how much force or lube you use, at least in may case. I had six to install so I wasn't enlarging six steel holes. The other issue is they put lube on the female plugs and cover it with a piece of masking tape. On the surface that is a good idea. The problem is the tape adhesive degrades from the lube and makes a sticky mess you have to wipe off. The brightness when installed was good.

I tested these before taking the time to install them, and then possibly find out one doesn't work. They all work. They are non polarized, so it doesn't matter which terminal is + or -. They even have the grease on the terminals to prevent fretting corrosion. The grease is one of the first things many American suppliers try to eliminate as a cost reduction! The diodes are another. I work in the auto industry. I've seen the "penny wise pound foolish" management decisions many times and I could tell about warranty returns due to both of those "savings". This contrast highlights another example of how American MANAGEMENT needs to step up their game to remain competitive.Good job!

I can clearly see into vehicles beside me on the road in the dark with how bright these things are on the sides of my flatbed, super easy to wire up and look awesome. Might buy more for a trailer.

These were installed on an Omaha Standard stake bed. It was a tight squeeze to get the grommets on (a good thing in my opinion) and I am confident they and the lights they hold are securely mounted. The lights have a great look and reflector works well. So long as the lights hold up, this will stay a five star reviewI bought these lights to do the side markers and another brand for the 4" round rears. I ended up returning the other brand's 4" round lights and buying this brands after seeing the difference in quality side by side. These lights fit tightly in the well made grommet, have copper wiring of an appropriate gauge, and dielectric grease pre-installed on connectors that fit snugly into the lights. The other brand had thin aluminum wiring, no dielectric grease, the connector barely latched on to the light with any retaining force (I was planning to glue it on), and fit loosely in the grommet to where I could easily push a light out with one finger (was contemplating gluing them in as well). I recommend paying a bit more and getting these lights for the above reasons.

I'm happy to say that some of LED"S worked well, I was bent trying to find the right ones and I ended up buying the wrong size. I was looking for all the light for an older Bobcat trailer, I meassured the lens of the light and did a search for 2" marker lights on Amazon. When I did the only thing that came up was 2.5" lights, so I thought the way to measure was from the rubber edges, that is wrong! Not knowing much about automotive lighting even after doing structural electrical for over 30 years, I was wrong & messed up and purchased the 2.5". After comparing the 2 different ones, I realized that you must measure the lens. ** The biggest concern is with Amazon, their system is one of the most aggressive to sell and they like to throw everything at you, say they have even if they do not, regardless if you type in exactly what you want. I was stupid and never researched longer, I won't make that mistake again. I needed to get lights on the trailer last week end, so I cut the 2" round hole into a 2.5" to make it work. I'll purchase the right ones for the remaining lights I need to replace.Anyway I will order the replacements from the same company, happy with the product. I believe they are Online LEDs.
