Handbag/Purse Light with Automatic Sensor The Perfect Bag Light Motion-Activated Purse Light by Wasserstein (1 Pack, White)

Love it! I can't yet speak for how long it lasts, because I bought it for Christmas gifts and only tried it out, but I think I'll be buying a couple more, one for myself and one more as a Christmas gift! (Perfect stocking stuffers or grab bag gifts).I thought that it would be a problem being motion activated in my purse, that it might stay on most of the time, so I tested it out. I think it's both light/motion activated (and maybe I overlooked reading that in the description in buying it. To be honest, I jumped to the reviews), not sure really. However, in my purse, when I held the non zip opening of the tote together, with the purse light clipped on a pocket near the top, and moved it vigorously, the light didn't come on until I opened the bag. It doesn't take much for it to set off the light, so you'd have to be mindful to not just leave your purse lying around halfway open which would be the reason why the battery would run down quickly, if indeed that were to happen.I'm getting another. The company seems responsive to me. I'm betting that if a defective one was sent that they'd rectify it quickly.

There are a ton of "I got this free" reviews here so I anted to add mine. I did not get this for free; I paid full price.Pros: Activates easily with motion and illuminates my dark purse very well. Clip attaches to my purse's interior organizer so the light isn't floating around in a different place every time. Really like this and will probably use this as my go-to girlfriend gift this year.Cons: The battery case shifted after about 10 days, causing the batteries to lose contact with the device so it no longer lit. It seemed like the batteries died. After talking with Wasserstein, I was able to jiggle the battery case back into place, and the light has worked just fine since then. (Their image is attached.) However, the case is still a bit loose, and I imagine this will happen again. To earn 5 stars, this item needs to have a tightly, properly fitting battery case.

My girlfriend likes this alot .... so i do too. The motion activated sensor is very nice but if there is one slight (and i mean slight) con about this product is that the light comes on alot when just carrying the purse around. I thought it would only come on if it sensed a hand movement etc. It would be nice if there was an adjustment for the sensitivity on this product or an override to use a button if wanted, I kmow thats alot to ask for what it is but we are very pleased with the product anyways! I actually bought these items to give as Christmas gifts to my sisters'. They were a little smaller than I had expected but they turned out to be the perfect size for a small purse or bag. They dont take up much room at all. The light picks up motion very easily but I feel like it's always on when I open my purse. I just hope the battery doesn't wear off too quick. All in all I'm pleased with the item. I would recommend it to family and friends.

The purse light is a brilliant idea and the product was designed well, however there should be a switch to turn the light completely off. The sensor is atop by the cord so that the light turns on when it senses you reaching down into your purse. This idea will only work properly if the light is upright, which it is not if it's clipped to a thin or droopy pocket. Because the light goes on at random times, I've resorted to keeping it zipped in a pocket so that it doesn't look like the Gates of Heaven is opening up in my bag at an embarrassing moment. I bought 3 of these lights and received that little discount, but I don't think the product was worth the cost...it's still a great idea though!

This light came quickly and in great condition. Unfortunately the original battery died within a few days because I believe it switched on more often than it should have. My purse is deep and dark, full of pockets, nooks, and crannies. This little baby did help me find my keys once or twice while it was working. That saved me a frustrated purse-dump, which I'm grateful for.I also have one in my bed side table drawer so I can find things like... chapstick in the middle of the night.I replaced the batteries in my purse light once and it died again very soon, so I recently tossed it. Thankfully it wasn't too expensive.

My mom loves to collect purses, but it seems like she complains every day about how difficult it is to find things in her purse. Her keys fall to the bottom and her wallets blend into the inner fabrics. When I gave this to her and explained what it was, she was so excited! Since gifting it, she clipped it to the inside of her bag and has just let it do it's job. This is a bright white light (not yellow or soft), and it does an incredible job illuminating the inside of her purses. It's not excessive or fancy, but this thing packs a serious punch. If you need that extra light in a pouch or bag, I cannot recommend this enough!!!

Got these as stocking stuffer gifts. It's a very neat concept but the execution could be better. The sensor for movement is located at the top of the light so if you don't have a purse that you close, it is easy for the light to be set off just be nature of your purse being open on top. A little creative clipping placement has mostly solved the issue, but if the sensor was on the side of the product it'd be monumentally better.

Very handy and bright but with just the motion activator sometimes it did not turn off if the purse is not closed properly, ended up draining the battery.

It's a nice compact little light. It looks like a price of bag jewellery until you need it for illumination. My Mom is partially blind so makes navigating her purse easier. Priced reasonably considering the style and fundtionality!

This little light works great. It does stay on for 15 sec before shutting off and will stay come on again when handbag is opened. Very useful especially at night. Many thanks for a most useful and convenient product! Denise

Great product. Bought it for my wife and her sister. They both have rather large bags as most ladies do now. So once they placed them in their bags, they were both very happy. Able to find items much easier with light
