LP-E6 Battery Charger for Canon EOS 5d Mark II, 5D Mark III, 5DS, 5DS R, 6D, 7D, 7D Mark II, 60D, 60Da, 70D, LC-E6 Charger

Tested this charger in my car making a 1 hour or so drive time trip charging a 5D MkIII battery that had completely drained. When I go back to my studio I put the battery in the camera to check it charge and it showed full. I then put the battery in my Canon wall charger and it showed it not being full. I let the charger finish charging the battery. Not sure just how long it took but 1-1/2 hours latter it showed a full charge. These batteries tend to take from 3-5 hours to charge so the 1 hour in the car charger and 1-1/2 in the wall suggest to me that the car charger did a good job. It definitely works!

After charging my battery overnight the charging light was no longer. Installed the battery in my camera (Canon 6D) and turned it on. The camera battery indicator does not read the battery as charged. I have no way to know if it's charged, or how much life is left on the battery so this is no good to me. Returned to vendor.

Especially loved the quick arrival and email follow ups from the owner to make sure everything was right, and the charger works great. I lost mine and had no idea which brand to get and saw the positive reviews for this one so took a chance and am glad I did. I could not tell at first if it was charging because the light doesn't blink. I had to put the battery back in the camera to know it was taking the charge, and it was, so I put it back in the charger over night. I know it didn't need that long as it was a quarter charged within the first hour, but it didn't come with a guide, so I just went with my intuition (and it happened to be time for bed), and all worked as I'd hoped in the morning. It's thinner than the original Canon 60D one too, so it's a better fit in my camera bag and comes with a car charger too, which is a great bonus. And again, terrific customer service.

I tested this charger in my car. It works fine. Now, I don't need to worry about having dead camera batteries during my photography excursions. I can simply charge the batteries while I am driving to my destination.The service that I have received from this seller has been nothing short of STELLAR. He contacted me to make sure that I received what I ordered and that my item was performing well. How many sellers have done that for you? Not many. This order was received very quickly and the items are exactly as advertised. The seller did an amazing job of following up and insuring I am satisfied with what I ordered. I misplaced my 6D charger on a recent trip and vowed never to be without a couple of extra's in my bag. I fully charged the batteries with no problem using these chargers. Also like the portablity of battery charging while in the car.

So far, I love it.I bought this charger for my boyfriend, since he used to forget his charger at home when we went somewhere. I have another camera brand so we can't share charger, and I had a car charger which I love. I am a nature photographer and often on the run. He is a film maker and very good on set, but privately he is not use to be in charge of these things. Now, having this in the car, we will never again go out on adventure and find that he is running out of power.I've only tried it once so far, but it works. So now I hope it will work for a long time. It's really nice that it is both a wall charger and a car charger. The only downside is the wire, it is a little short so there is tension in the cord when trying to place the charger somewhere while charging. But it extends a little so that is a minor problem. Guess that depends on how your car is designed.

This charger is cheaply made and fragile. If you plan to travel or carry this in your camera bag I do not recommend it. From the beginning, it took forever to charge a battery. When comparing it to my canon battery charger it took about 3x's longer.

This charger is reasonably compact and easy to use. It does not indicate how low the charge in the battery is (and hence how long it will take to charge) in that it only has a red light to indicate not fully charged and a green light to indicate a full charge. But it does charge the battery fully, so that when I put it in the camera it shows a full charge. I've only had and used the charger for a bit more than a week, but thus far it has worked fine.
