Frank Chacksfield's best compilation in my opinion. The cat also finds it very soothing!!

I loved Frank Chacksfield's Ebb Tide but it was not on this cd. Otherwise it is greatmusic!

A lovely collection of music from the real music years 1930 -through to 1950s a must for those that enjoy a wonderful orchestra playing some fab; tunes of that era.

For film goers of the 40's and 50's this CD is a great reminder of some of the best music of the time, very nostalgic. The arrangements and the playing of the Frank Chacksfield Orchestra are outstanding and at this price it is a must, turn the lights down low, get yourself a glass of good wine and enjoy.Tony R.
