Gemini CDJ-700 Professional Media Controller, Black, 1.85 x 10.87 x 19.06

I Own 4 Pioneer cdj1000mk3 and these are not perfect to the pioneers but dam close. the touch plater is perfect. people say scratching is hard but seem perfect to me these are not vinyl so they will not feel like slip pads over all perfection for under 1,000 bucks for two. my pioneers were 1,800 each. I use the cdj700 for practice at home. to keep my optics clean on my pioneers. gemini finally made a decent product.

I bought this for one reason. To allow me to play the guitar in tune with my CD's. I've not had any issues with it. It's definitely larger than I would have preferred but just finding a pitch controlled cd at this price is a challenge . Everything I've used on it thus far has worked flawlessly. That is until today, 60 days after I received it. This has not been moved from the spot I put it when it arrived. I play 2-3 Cd's a month. I forwarded one song and the machine locked up. I had to turn it off and start again to get it to work.

A great product for the price! It works as well as more expensive professional turntables. I originally purchased a set of CDJ300's which were absolutely horrible! I returned them, bought these instead and I'm quite impressed! The unit housing is made out of plastic, so I'm not sure how it will hold up durability wise but that's how they can sell it for so much less than competitors.

I loved this for about a month, then it started making a loud noise after being on for about forty-five minutes. It would then freeze up and not do anything. If I unplugged it, it would reset, but today it ate the cd and I had to dismantle it to take it out. I am not too good at using the computer and I cannot find a phone number to call to talk to you about this. I am very sad because in the beginning it was just what I wanted. I think maybe I got a lemon, I don't know.

Awesome! The new Gemini CDJ 700 is a great piece of gear. The jog wheel is so pioneer like. Feels great. Controls via the touch screen is cool. All the functions of this unit work flawlessly. Cue has a slight delay but this can be fixed with firmware update. Other than the cue delay the unit is awesome! Don't be a label fanboy for other brands. Give this new Gemini deck a try, you will be very suprised and happy. Easy to learn to use.

i had it for a couple months and it played well but now it stopped all of a sudden and says that its error ive tried new cds and everything i could think of and looked in the instructions ,,but still wont work..i dont know whats wrong with it ...

AMAZING FOR THE PRICEDEFINITELY JANKY - THEY CRASH A FAIR AMOUNT AND THE UNIT NEEDS TO BE RESTARTED AND THERE IS NO WAY TO SET CUE POINTS OR CREATE PLAYLISTS BUT I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEMA MUST HAVE FOR THE ASPIRING CDJ DJ WHO DOESNT WANT TO DROP A COUPLE THOU ON A PIONEER SETUP

I think this product is great if you want the pioneer work flow for a budget price. i've seen other reviews that mention latency or tight jog friction, but I didn't experience anything of the sort. I did have one complaint about it, but it's definitely my personal preference to have 4 cues but oh well. what can you do? lol anyways I would definitely recommend this product to the DJ on a budget who wants pioneer experience. disclaimer... doesn't come with USB cables to connect via MIDI; buy some, enjoy this product
