Jacobi Jayne FLO-S1G Bird Feeder, Lime, Small

Ordered yesterday, arrived today. I bought this to replace a more expensive metal one that was rather flimsy and cracked on arrival so returned it. It is a fairly thin plastic tube so best be gentle with it but the green plastic perches and feeding holes are much thicker and robust. The lid fits snug but not too tight as to split the plastic tube (as happened to the previous one) and the base is very easy to unclip and take apart to clean and put back together easily, no fiddling around with screws that are hard to reach like some other designs, so old unhealthy clumps of seeds should no longer be a problem. There are only 2 feeding perches but have 2 so can feed 4 birds at a time. Perhaps a little expensive but will be worth it if it lasts a long time of course!The gold finches absolutely love it and green finches and blue tits use it too, in fact the birds queue up to get on. Luckily the starlings and larger birds don't use it either and I keep it away from the fat ball feeders too which attract them and scare the finches away. Make sure you leave water out for them too as they are often having a drink after a long feed as some of them can sit there for several minutes eating as much as they can! Highly recommended.

I am delighted with this feeder!. I have been looking for a large feeder that was easy to clean. This is the best one I have ever bought. The feeder is very large and the feeding holes are spiralled around the length of the tube which is far better than the standard 3 tier face to face feeding holes. The birds are able to still get at the food as the level goes down due to the spiralling. Brilliant idea!. The fact that the feeder is also the easiest to clean ever which is MOST important to me makes this the absolute best one out there for me. It's also a fantastic price and is a very sturdy well made feeder. I will be buying more ready for the winter.

I opened up the box next day, and saw one port is missing that sits at the bottom of the feeder,where bird food will spill out. Can a a seperate lime port be sent to me? As I don,t wish to return the whole feeder.Joy Adams

Good sized seed feeder; so easy to take apart to clean ( instructions are in the label): just unclip the side ports then slide the bottom out.

We have always been very pleased with Jacobi Jayne easy clean feeders in the past. This time we decided to buy a Flo seed feeder and were very pleased when it arrived. However after using for a couple of days we noticed a carpet of seeds on the garden below the feeder. Lots of seeds seem to spill out of it when birds are feeding, which is not only wasteful but also could be encouraging unwanted pests.

The birds won’t touch it , it’s very long , I would have been better with the medium I think as much longer than expected , but it’s very well made and easy to clean

I bought this as a replacement for an existing JJ feeder, it is not as good quality, being very flimsy. There was also a missing part. Returned unused.

I put up this feeder with fresh nyjer seed 10 days ago. I haven't seen a single bird use it, although other feeders in my yard attract lots of birds.

Ich bin begeistert, jahrelange Plackerei hat endlich ein Ende.Station auf den Kopf drehen. Auf beiden Seiten den Clip in der Mitte der Sitzstange nach unten drücken. Jetzt lässt sich der Boden herausziehen. Wenn man die Sitzstangen ganz entfernt hat und den Boden wiedereinsetzen will, muss man sie eventuell etwas nach unten drücken damit die Clips beim hereindrücken hörbar einrasten. Der Rest ist selbsterklärend.Keine Ritzen, Rillen und Ränder mehr an denen sich Futterreste absetzen. Keine Tragegriffe mehr die dauernd aus der Halterung rutschen. Keine Tragegriffhalterungen mehr die abbrechen oder wegbrechen. Keine mühselige Fummelei mit dem Schraubenzieher mehr. Endlich eine Vogelfutterstation die einfach zu reinigen ist. Wird in Grossbritannien hergestellt, falls das für jemanden von Belang ist. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Forse c'è stato uno sbaglio, ma non è arrivato l'articolo ordinato, bensì uno più piccolo (2 porte invece di 4 come nella foto). Un vero peccato. Restituirò l'articolo e proverò ordinare di nuovo. Aggiornerò la recensione.

The delivery was fast and a wonderful surprise, delivered to the door. I put the feeder into use right away and it didn't take 3 minutes for the first blue tits to notice the new feeding place. Thank you, I am satisfied.
