Super
Great little book. Definitely gets the point across. I bought this for my 9 year old granddaughter. Though a little simplistic and brief, we both enjoyed reading it together.

Charming and Insightful Story, Delightful Illustrations, Great Readaloud
Ashley Bartley's first book is a winner! As a retired teacher I know the difficulties that "tattling" can cause, and Ashley's rhyming storyline addresses this problem in a whimsical and amusing way. I love how she uses humor to differenciate between tattling on classmates and reporting on a true problem. She allows "Diamond Rattle" to save face as she makes the transformation between being having difficulty making friends because of her tendency to tell on others to being a responsible classmate who recognizes the difference between an annoyance and a problem that needs to be addressed. I would have loved to have had this book fifty years ago! Brian Martin's bright and colorful illustrations follow the story line and make it perfect for a readaloud.

A fun book to help teach an important lesson
Ashley knocks it out of the park with this book. Sometimes it is hard for children to understand the difference between tattling and telling when someone is in trouble, and as parents, it isn't easy to find a way to convey that message that a child will understand. Diamond Rattle Loves to Tattle is the perfect way to teach this lesson. The characters and fun themes throughout the book made my daughter excited, and helped us teach an important lesson in her young, developing mind. There's also some very helpful tips for parents and teachers in the back of the book on different ways to help educate between tattling and helping others. This is a must have for any parent or teacher!

Nice theme
The book has a clear and obvious theme; however, it is way to wordy.

Great for home and classrom
I purchased this book as a gift for the young girl next store who started school. Her mom is an elementary school teacher. She can knocking at my door and told me she loved the book. Her mom said she loved it so much she was going to take it in and read it to her class. So great choice!

Very cute and effective
Very cute book and has actually reduced the tattling between my 4yo and 5yo which is shocking. Itโs cute and theyโve asked to read it multiple times
