Truper 30162 Bars 69-Inch Post Hole Digger / Tamping Bar,16-Pound

This is great. I much prefer it to the Truper 6' Pencil-Point Digging Bar, which weighs more (16 lbs) and doesn't have the nail head to pound with a sledge hammer. I would like to see this offered in the pencil-point instead of the spade end, because I use it for digging, and the point is what I need to penetrate and pry out hard clay and rocks. Does it really have to be that heavy though? I don't know if it could be just as strong at a lighter weight.

The blade end and the tamping end are holding up well in volcanic rock I work with. Nice price, Prime delivered to me. No problems.

Bought this for rock hounding, but it doubles just as well in the garden for tamping down post holes and other uses! Awesome for people who don't own a truck since it fits in my impreza wagon with ease🤙🤙

This worked fine for me. I was a bit surprised, though, that I was able to slightly bend the bar. (I weigh about 225.) Not a serious problem, but the bars I've used before have been impossible for me to bend.

Not quite as heavy as our prior one which we bent, but works well . Heavy duty with a slightly shorter beveled end than our o,d one.

I have been wanting this size forever! I made my own custom one years ago and it got lost in a move. So once I found this I ordered it & came fast! I have the long style, but it's heavy. This one rocks! I can be on my knees & with it in one hand tamping, while holding the plant with the other hand. This is a great gift for anyone in the landscape business or loves tools that work. BUY IT!

Have been looking for a smaller dig bar. This is perfect. I'm a tiny person but this thing is not too heavy. I can get under a bush with it and pry it up no problem. Helps to get to the roots so I can cut them and pull the bush out. Great tool.

Love this for my outside projects. Perfect for putting holes for fertilizing. Just what I needed.
