Nice Bible, even if a basic hardback cover, content and NLT is wonderful.
I also ordered this is a beautiful soft cover Bible, where the cover is so pretty and smooth/soft. This will be a review essentially of both. They were identical on the inside. I found from a few nights of using the soft back cover that the spine wasn't recovering well from being opened. I don't know if it would have have failed eventually, but that was also my concern of the hardback version too, that the spine covering of the hardback would crack. Also know, this is a thick and heavy Bible. The soft cover is flexible and requires you to hold it carefully so as to not let it flex too much and get away from you. The hardback was a little easier to handle. Overall, I chose to keep the hardback for it's ease in holding and the cheaper price. Regarding the content, the NLT translation is wonderful - my first time reading NLT and I'm definitely a fan, coming off of KJV and NKJV. I love the study content, although I'm still learning how best to use all of the info. I do admit that I first read my NKJV (a personal challenge to touch every page in that NKJV Bible) and then I move over and re-read it in the NLT. Of course this takes quite a bit of time to read it twice, then the study notes. For now, I'll continue, but I can easily see myself setting aside my NKJV for this one.

Great study book.
Really love this book. I like how things are explained. Everything is very clear. The information is very good. I like it when books give me all the information and I don’t have to go find it elsewhere. I recommend this book to everyone that wants to study the Bible. It is thick but that doesn’t bother me.

Fantastic Study Guide
I love this Bible, The pages are easy to read ( large print), and I have learned so much. The layout with the maps and timelines is easier to understand and really enjoy the bible. I 1000% recommend that I am now gifting a copy of this study bible to a friend. Thank you

Large Print, Good Lighting, Clean Glasses and an Adjustable Laptop Stand all help!
This is a big Bible best used at home for quiet study. Prepare your heart and mind with prayer to adventure into a well laid-out guide to finding "gold nuggets" of detailed information and added understanding of people and events mentioned throughout the scriptures and footnotes. For me, I have found that reading 2-3 chapters and then going back and underlining and highlighting footnotes and text really helps me to focus on what is being taught and how I need to apply it to my life. I recommend this Bible version to people who have some experience in reading other Bible versions and are ready to dig deeper into building a closer relationship with our Lord.

Wonderful!!! LASB NLT Large Print
I am thrilled! I've enjoyed the Life Application Study Bible, New Living Translation, for many years. This updated large print edition is exactly what I hoped for. The print is significantly larger, and the font is open and easy to read in both the text and the study notes. What a welcome blessing! I like the subtle new tree of life cover design too!

Best learning bible ever !
The best learning bible I have come across ! So much information to help you understand what you are reading. Maps to give you understanding where things are, time lines, and under the bible readings giving clarity what you read and how it applies to today. Very informative. Pages are thin and havent gotten to the new testament yet but the words of what God or Jesus says are in red. The large print is great for me. It is hardcover. Just beware it is a large book and heavy and wouldnt be easy for carrying. Its a bit pricey, but for me it was worth it for all the knowledge it holds and know i will definitely re read it over and over.

Concise Reading with Lessons to Practice
I remember trying to read the Bible when I was younger and how difficult it was to try and make sense, I believe it was the King James Version. Now that I'm older, I wanted to try again. I used a website that allows you to compare translations and came upon the NLT for my preference. Following that, I read some reviews of different NLT Bibles on Amazon and picked this one. This Bible is very concise and easy to read. It flows very smoothly. The applications are lessons taken from the scriptures that define how we can use them in everyday life. Furthermore, the introductions, footnotes, maps, and other notes aid in giving a complete perspective of the time and situations.I recommend this Bible, but the only gripe I have is that it is not as large print as one would think, compared to other large print Bibles.
