The LED’s are bright and the battery life has on several occasions gotten me through a half marathon that started and finished in the dark. It is light and the band is comfortable.

Very light and surprisingly powerful.

This headlamp stopped working after 5 months of light use. Was fine when it did work, but I expect more than 5 months of use...

Charging port no longer reliable after 1 year. Why is it not usb C?Update: contacted black diamond and they ignored me for an entire year, finally they got back to me and asked if my light worked. I said no... that's why I'm emailing you and they have been ignoring me ever since. I have tons of black diamond stuff but I'm taking the L on this one. Sucks

Bought it as a upgrade from the lota it replaced. It is brighter, 225 lm vs 160lm which is nice. The 2 issues I have is battery life is terrible and the power button is recessed which makes it difficult to turn on and off. The lota was definitely a better headlight. I wished I never purchased this.

Battery after being fully charged will die even when it's off.Please don't buy it!

I bought this for backpacking, hunting, grilling at night, etc. I like that it's rechargeable, and the battery life seems to be really good. I don't use it on high setting for very long, but on that setting it is REALLY bright. I do like that it dims, not sure what the point of the strobe would be (maybe for halloween), and the battery life indicator is nice. Tilts which is also great, and it's very small and light (backpackers care). Overall, I think a nice buy for the money.

I used this on the summit night of kili climb and throughout my trip. Was great. Really bright. Served it’s purpose really well. Also used to read in tent and as a make shift chandelier. Was really effective and not heavy. For running it is good but I suppose it’s not super focused light so really has to be pitch black for this to be effective but it does a good job for me during winter marathon training. I’d recommend.

Acquistata per il running ed è perfetta.Abbiamo anche testato la frontale giusto ieri durante una notturna in montagna, anche all’intensità minima offre una luminosità ottimale ed è talmente leggera da non sentirla, qualità prezzo ineccepibile. Consigliatissima.

Absolutely fantastic product that has a small light involving little weight. I really like the thick durable but soft material used for the strap, makes the light really comfortable to wear. USB charging is a must for me. I use this light for diy at home and when doing detailed work fixing my bike. The adjustable brightness of the light is another great feature allowing the right amount of light required instead of fixed settings.
