Delivered quickly but very difficult to use

I have tried many ways to repair crack in my house render, I first used this about 2 1/2 years ago. The original repair has never cracked again, it is very good and long lasting repair.

I’ve purchased several of these, for patching up brickwork, filling in gaps in mortar etc and other slightly larger holes and it’s been brilliant. In contrast to some of the other reviewers the express cement has come out very easily and with the silicone gun it’s easy to put in small/medium holes. Sets pretty hard. I’ve pushed it into small cracks etc or on sides of holes to adhere it firmly and compact it but it’s v easy to do. I highly recommend it. I’ve used the everbuild power pro sealant gun with it which I also highly recommend as it’s much better built and more sturdy than normal but I didn’t ever have to press particularly hard to get the cement out. Overall a very convenient repair solution.

I had asked the question as to whether this would be good for fixing cracks in an external rendered wall and was told yes it would. So I ordered two tubes.First issue was trying to get the stuff out of the tube. It didn’t matter how hard we pressed the trigger on the sealant gun this stuff wouldn’t come out, which was the first hurdle in trying to neatly fill in a crack. I ended up getting it out of the tube bit by bit and putting it into the cracks with my finger!!It was a very sandy consistency, not like a sealant consistency. The Sandy elements just didn’t work for a crack. It would be better to have describe this as brick mortar in a tube!So, I found a perfect use which was to repair the mortar in a garden wall (although it was still almost impossible to get the stuff out of the tube so the job took twice as long as it should have)!

Wouldn't recommend this product waste of money, broke gun trying to get this out of tube.

This is a good product of which I have bought four tubes. 2 have been brilliant and worked well and two have been partially set in the tube. I have used these by cutting the good stuff out.Thought I would try and complain - impossible if you have thrown the cut up tubes away. I totally get that retrospectively.So if you get a good one you are sorted. If not don’t persist with it just send it back and buy another till you are sorted.
