Final update and review
These seem stout and increase my comfort protecting what’s under the hood from random theft.Update- after 4 months of service the passenger side hood lock failed. I could not lock or unlock the mechanism. I had to disassemble to remove and diagnose. Unfortunately there are two very small ball bearings that fell out as I worked on it. Lost one and have reassembled pending contact with the manufacturer. Hoping their customer service is good.Update - So far the customer service proposal is that I pay roughly 45% for one (of the two) sides, plus shipping. Not much customer support. If the part breaks in four months, expect little. Great product, but given the Jeep is used only for jeeping, not a daily driver, and garage stored, I would have expected the product to last a bit longer.Last and final Update - delighted with the product as mentioned before. Finally came to agreement with manufacturer on replacing the defective part. I did need to pay a small amount to have a replacement shipped but it has arrived. Net: if you want a nice looking hood lock, this is a fine alternative. easy lock/unlock mechanism, looks nice, seems like good quality. Thank you to the manufacturer.

🤷♀️
Handles were easy to install & I get compliments on them often. The one thing I don't like about them is the name brand is embroidered in red on the black strap & there is no way to install it where it's not seen. 🤷♀️

Headache to install, but look & work great
This device is a monster to install, due to the awkward placement of the interior hood bolts. It took a big chunk out of my evening and a lot of swearing to get on. I also had to purchase my own tools for it. But damn, they look great & they work reall well. Apparently it’s very common for jeeps to have their batteries stolen. My battery was stolen while the jeep was sitting on the lot at the dealership, even. This may not deter theives with a big tool bag of tricks, but it should keep every day tweakers away from your engine area (stock jeeps have no hood locks). Did I mention they look great?

SUPER! Great look!
Looks great! Easy to put on..dah Velcro! Lol but makes the orange 2020 Mojave stitching POP! Not sure if they will be used for massive “grip” but I defiantly drive hanging onto mine when the window is down!

Broke while installing.
Middle buckle broke while I was installing. I left it because I needed them and I figured it would hold even without the middle buckle. Would like to exchange after my camping trip.

Very solid product, but not very well executed. The minimum length is still longer than I'd like. The locking/unlocking action is actually pretty hard to operate, expecially if don't frequently open the hood. I may have to remove these because they waste so much time, and can be thwarted with a simple allen wrench.

Disappointed
Well i had them in my Jeep for 2 weeks an they became untied lil disappointed to find out that when they ran the para cord back through the stitching they didn’t make it long enough to prevent that so now i have to by a new set up

Solid, work well - just don't install them backwards LOL
Installed in 2020 JL Sahara UnlimitedI was reading all the reviews before I purchased these, and a few things stood out to me. First, it seemed like most people were installing them improperly - not that they won’t work this way but still, why install them backwards? But seriously, every single photo posted by someone they were backwards. The other thing I noticed is that some people received the item with a logo on it that looks quite horrific. As I have the Altitude package, I could not have any logos on mine. I took a gamble. So, I ordered the black, and there was no logos of any kind. Nothing. This was perfect. Now, let’s talk about the install. When you install these, there should be no buckles showing on the outside of your vehicle. Meaning, if you open the door and you see 3 big black buckles stuck to the roll bar, you’ve installed it backwards. Ok, fine, maybe you love, just absolutely love buckles and you want those showing. Fine, more power to you. These can be installed without removing the top of the Jeep. This was something that sorely, no one ever took the time to mention. It can be done though. The simplest way is from the outside just push one buckle through over the roller - grab it on the other side and pull and all 3 buckles will come out the other side. Tada! You are going to want to put these on really, really tight. The reason is that if they are loose, they could slide forward and interfere with the sun visor. So crank these on, then push the velcro around and all the way. ALL THE WAY. I’ve seen competing products where people are saying theirs fell off. Yes, that will happen if you have fat fingers and are unable to secure the entire velcro over the roll bar. Now, the Jeep already come with installed handles from climbing into it. These are located on the front window pillars and for me they work perfectly to help me boost in off the running board. These, they aren’t quite in a position to be used for climbing in. These are more for when you are off-roading and need something to hang on to while you are rocking around.I tried, I really did - to break these. I used all my might to try and rip the handle off, and to try and get the velcro to come undone under force and it was not possible. Therefore, I trust these even if I do want to use them to climb in at times. For the price I will no complain. I can’t find anything wrong with these. 5 stars.

Good Quality, exact colour
As far as durability goes i cant make any comments b/c i just installed them today. But from the quality and material its safe to say they are durable. What made me choose them was the green colour and its almost exactly like my "Mojito Green" jeep so aesthetics was the main idea...but its also functional and material and production seem pretty good.

Good quality
Grab handles are well made and easy to install. You will brush your head against them getting into your jeep but not a big deal. When you pull down on the handle it does come down some so I am a little concerned about that but so far so good. Installed a couple of weeks ago. Could have gone cheaper but I do like the 3 straps that attach to Jeep frame.
