I am a hydrologist and a GIS user, and I was looking for a book that could help me learn QGIS and apply it to my work. I came across this book and decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. The book is well-written, clear, and practical. It covers a range of topics related to catchment hydrology and water management, such as georeferencing, digitizing, importing data, joining tables, interpolation, map algebra, stream and catchment delineation, open data, land cover analysis, and map design. The book uses a problem-based learning approach, where each chapter introduces a problem, learning objectives, and a workflow to solve it. The book provides step-by-step instructions and screenshots for each task, as well as explanations of the concepts and tools involved. The book also provides links to videos and exercises that complement the book content.
