Encon Wraparound Veratti 307 Safety Glasses, Clear Lens, Translucent Blue Frame (Pack of 1)

I bought these a few years ago while taking organic chemistry. I couldn't stand using the safety glasses provided by my lab, so I decided to get my own pair. I did a lot of searching because I wanted something comfortable, cute, and functional. I was concerned by reviews saying they had bad visual distortion and tended to fog heavily, but I liked these better than any other pair, so I went ahead and bought them. So nearly two years, seven lab classes, two summer lab positions, at least 1000 driven miles between home and school, and four trans-Atlantic and trans-continental flights later, these glasses are still rocking. So let me tell you why you should buy these glasses:- They're comfortable and they stay put. I don't notice them on the bridge of my nose the way I notice my reading glasses or my sunglasses I have never had a problem with them sliding down my nose or falling off of my face without some serious effort. I frequently push them up on top of my head rather than take them off and not only do I barely notice them, but they still don't fall off as quickly as others might when I bend over or tip my head back. The padding on the frames means that they hang on tight and I can wear these all day without getting a pressure headache.- They're stylish. On my face or on my head, these glasses are cute. They're sleek and slim, sitting close to your eyes instead of jutting out like ugly lab goggles. The color is also very flattering and true to the picture.- They work. While it's true, I have noticed some (read: very little) visual distortion, I only really experience it when I'm looking through the glasses a certain way (down the bridge of my nose and/or cross-eyed through the middle) and am already very tired. The vented eye-slits are great for preventing fogging, so I almost never fog. The only times I have noticed fog are when transitioning suddenly to a very hot room, or at times when I suddenly feel uncomfortably hot (essentially a hot flash). In the time I've owned and worn these glasses, I have never truly had a problem with either distortion or fogging. Even in the few times I've noticed those things, they passed quickly and didn't truly impair my ability to see or work.- Finally, Agent Bobbi Morse wears them. The other night while I was watching Agents of SHIELD, I noticed in a close-up of Bobbi Morse putting on her safety glasses that she was putting on THESE EXACT SAFETY GLASSES. I'm not kidding. I was so excited that I paused, rewound, and replayed the action in slow-motion just to be sure that these were them. AND THEY WERE. And let me tell you, she looked damn good in these safety glasses.So if these glasses look great enough to be on a prime time network television show, they look great enough to be on your face. And they work great enough to be on your face. And not to mention they're so reasonably priced, there really isn't any reason you shouldn't buy them.

The best pair of safety googles I've ever owned. Will be back to stock up on more pairs. Great for working on my motorcycle, around the house or even just playing with squirt guns with my daughter. They stay put, are comfortable, lightweight and flexible. For the price I thought these would be kind of junky but turns out they are better than my other $30 pair of high tech goggles. For the price, pick up 2 or 3. They're good for everything.

I bought these as a backup for my job which requires me to have safety glasses on for 8 hours. I cannot stand the cheap 3M glasses provided by my job, they give me headache thanks to a lot of temple pressure. These do not have that problem. Theyre very comfortable all around, they wrap around my face perfectly and they look very nice. The lenses do tend to fog up a bit if you sweat but nothing that wont go away quickly. I wont put it against it because it happens to all safety glasses Ive tried of this style. My only problem with these is that the frame feels fragile thanks to its design. The frame design is what makes it comfortable, unfortunately it also makes them rather fragile as far as safety glasses go. However, I cant complain much since these are amazing for the price ($4.50).

Great value for the price. And cheaper than losing an eye. The glass is very clear. I don't see the image distortion mentioned in the other reviews. Maybe different eyes will react differently to the glass shape. They wok for me. They look like quality safety glasses. I like the fact that the glass shield is a little springy on the extremities. This provides some cushioning in case of impact. They fit good on my head and are comfortable to wear.

The glasses look nice and are comfortable. They don't fog up bad. However, their safety rating is not for racket sports and that's what I most needed.

I do a lot of work in my garage workshop. I'm out there most weekends and sometimes during the week. I always wear safety glasses, my wife actually makes fun of me a bit for it but, doing so has saved me more than a few times now. To me, a sign of a good pair of safety glasses is when you can forget you have them on--and that's been easy with these glasses. The pair I received didn't have any distortion in the lenses (as some reviews had complained) and I also like that these are ANSI Z87.1 compliant, which gives me some confidence in the quality. I also like a good value for my money. These glasses are a great combination of quality and value. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a good set of safety glasses for light work.

These glasses are perfect. I work at a hardware supply warehouse and we are required to wear safety glasses. I have tried other glasses and had comfort issues with them especially by the end of a 9 or 10 hour shift. Not with these! They are very comfortable and with the rubber nose piece they stay in place. The arms are nice and thin which is great because I pick orders using a voice pick system and wearing a headset with these glasses causes no ear discomfort. I love these glasses and will definitely be purchasing more as needed!

Safety glasses can only be so complicated, but these definitely perform in a few key areas:1) durable. I destroy about 50% of the things I touch. These survived a 3 week kitchen tiling project.2) Functional. They never got scratched or had the lenses break so I could always see perfectly out of them.3) Design. They're somewhat stylish for safety glasses and are so light I often forgot they were on my head.
