Good quality, welded chains
Love that these have welded chain links so won't fall apart as easily as cheaper versions of this product. They work as intended. Not a replacement for full crampons but very useful for walks where that kit would be overkill

These are required in icy conditions...
First time ive used anything like this, first time ive done winter Munros...No need for avoiding ice with these on, even walked over rocks and tarmac with them on and they are still fineThese are life savers on icy or hard packed snow, but on softer wet snow they need to be taken off as snow sticks to them and that's not safe, just as well you can pull them off easily.For steeper climbs better with spikes and better boots to go with them...
