The flavors and blends of the spices are very good, but the grind is quite course, and as dried spices they are difficult to season with grilled meat dishes. Have tried them with chicken and ground beef with some success, however with the course grind, they don't seem to work very well if used as a dry rub, particularly on drier cuts such as chicken. I believe that they possibly could be re-hydrated somewhat before use for grilling, however with a long simmering dish such as a soup or pasta sauce they should work just fine. Haven't tried them in a roasted dish yet.An other small surprise was the amount of salt (it's very good salt, by the way) in the packet. We are used to the Italian spice blends having little or no salt, and controlling the amount in the final preparation. Just an adjustment, but good to know beforehand. Finally, The Spice Lab is friendly, communicative and efficient with rapid fulfillment and quick shipping. Will definitely use them again.

I like this seasoning much better than the regular Italian seasoning. More flavor. I buy other spices from the Spice Lab. Shipping and value are good. Never been disappointed with anything I purchase from them. This is my second order of this item.

Its a good product for flavorful sauces. It's not finely ground, rather as it's name implies, it's rustically grated tiny particles that don't soften in cooking...leaving hard grits of rosemary, etc. In your mouth.

Great blend that reminds me of last year's trip to Tuscany! It arrived quickly, safely (well packed) and helped me be more creative in the kitchen. It's a balanced blend that tastes fresh and adds a wonderful flavor without all the work.Here are my suggestions. Add to olive oils for a flavorful bread dip. Mix with roasted vegetables; I added to roasted zucchini. Add to a simple vinaigrette. Add to a simple pasta such as pasta with veggies, basil and chicken. Add to panko crumbs and coat chicken or fish.

We have enjoyed adding the Italian Rustico seasoning to all of our Italian dishes, but it really adds a lot of great flavor to pizza. Before cooking your pizza, try brushing a light coating of butter around the edge, and then lightly sprinkle some seasoning on it...really does the job.

Super flavoring for the pizzas I make. Since I must eat gluten free, I make my own pizzas and this seasoning makes my pizzas extra yummy. Glad I got it.

My favorite “go to” spice for just about everything I cook. So delicious in spaghetti, on steaks, in burgers, meatloaf, meatballs....Soups, in chicken salad....you can’t go wrong with this spice!

The aroma upon opening the bag was my inspiration to..........STAY-IN AND COOK DURING COVID LOCKDOWN. Since my family and friends love to eat my creations this spice treasure will get me a lot of favors, and I intend to make care packages for the lucky few that cook for ME as well
