Sticks to everything!!
This sand is advertised for use with hermit crabs, but I don't see how/why, as it sticks to EVERYTHING! It's bad enough that it sticks to their shells and everything in their cage, but it's on their bodies in all of their crevices! I watched a hermit crab try to clean itself last night; something I've never seen happen before. He even came out of his shell, trying to get rid of it. These photos are of what happens with DRY sand, so imagine when it's damp (hermit crabs need humidity). We bought new sand today and we are trying to clean it off of everything, but it's hard, even with water. Please do NOT put this in your hermit crabs' cages!

Not good!
I used this sand for half of my ten gallon hermit crab tank.it was pretty but makes a mess and sticks to EVERYTHING. Hermit crabs need wet sand. This sand does not allow for it to get wet and the water rolls off of it like its horse hair! DO NOT GET THIS SAND FOR YOUR HERMIT CRABS!!!!!

STICKY, crabs (and everything else) covered
The pink sand sticks to EVERYTHING. Crabs, walls, food and water were covered. I had to remove from the habitat.
