My partner's favorite
My partner only wears boxer briefs and these are now the only kind he wears. I can't believe how difficult it is to find a pack of only black briefs. Most packs include at least one other color and then he doesn't wear the other color so it's a waste. He says these are very comfortable. They fit snug but not tight and the material is soft. The Docker's boxer briefs do feel like they are good quality. However, he's had a few of these that had to be replaced after less than two years of wear. I don't know if that's typical; is it the quality or is he exceptionally hard on underwear? (Yes, I know I just used "hard on" and "underwear" in the same sentence...) My own underwear lasts several years, but then I wash on gentle cycle and air dry them so that may make a difference but I know he'll never do that and don't expect him to.I first ordered this brand of boxer briefs for him about 4 years ago and continue ordering them as needed. When he is in need of new ones, this is the brand he requests. Makes it easy for me since there is no shopping around. I've never run across these in stores, only on Amazon after a search for a pack of ONLY black boxer briefs. I hope they don't stop making them.

Happy Husband
My husband is very picky about his boxer briefs; not just in the fit, but in the color as well. He likes them to be all black. Not even a little something on the waistband, like a logo, can be another color. Maybe he wants to be Batman, or Johnny Cash, I don't know. So his choices are pretty narrowed down from that preference alone. Merona (Target brand) had a brief he loved but they have since stopped making them. The only close enough kind we found while hunting was a brief from Champion, but it was the moisture wicking material which he found ok, but didn't love.As his Meronas were deteriorating, I was happy to find these cotton boxer briefs online and the fit looked very close to what was left of his Meronas. I ordered 2 packages because even if they weren't absolute winners he needed something, now. Luckily for him, he loves them. They fit exactly as he expected them to.They do come out of the package looking strange. They look very wide and "spacious" in the crotch area. I washed them all before he wore them and possibly it corrected this strangeness because they fit great on him. Since they are all black, he wins as well.I am ordering 2 more packages today

Fits well
I've worn both boxers and briefs all my life, why not try a combination of the two?Went with the Docker's brand based on reviews, and while I haven't tried other brands, I do say these fit pretty well, not too snug like most briefs tend to do, there's enough room where it actually feels like boxers. What I do like is that this instead the stretchy spandex-y material, they don't hug your thighs (I'm on the thinner side so I have women's legs as my wife likes to joke) yet they don't constantly ride up the way boxers do.One tip worth mentioning is when washing, use gentle cycle and let them air dry. Did the machine wash/dry with my first pair, and they shrunk a bit. I'm a 34 waist (though it could be a 33 but I don't like my midsection to feel squeezed) and I went with a pack of medium. They fit fine as long as they don't shrink. Once shrunken, while they are still wearable, they tend to be a tad too snug.

That's 'Knit' Picky
My wife bought me 3 pairs of Dockers Briefs. Perhaps revenge for her toaster gift?I strongly prefer Boxer-Briefs - Not briefs......Not boxers.FYI: Boxers roll up under my pockets, like your dress would under coveralls. Briefs are similar in design to women's underwear. And, I realize women do not have an issue with the up-tight fit.I did like the soft waist band and the color. So, I purchased these 3 Dockers Boxer Briefs. They have the same nice soft waist ban and the same black color. They also come with a confusing definition of boxer-briefs. The length of the leg part is minimal, maybe defined as Extended briefs? The waist might be 32", but the seat area is more like 36-38. Who is the model for the design of these Dockers ... Big Bird?I like looseness, but not baggy. I like firmness, but not tight. Maximum comfort requires no tolerance, when nothing is a better option than just coming close, I would be more satisfied with a toaster.

I beg to differ
Couldn't disagree with R. Harding more, these are the worst boxer briefs ever!!! Like Harding, I've been wearing boxer briefs for years and I have been through every type and know good when I feel good - these are the exact opposite of good. I first bought the colored 3-pack which you can see from the photos are a different "cut" or design than the white or light blue pair. After trying out the colored pair and hating them, and thinking that the rave reviews were for the white/light blue style, I ordered a 3-pack of the white one in a later purchase and while they are different, I can only rank them as the second worst boxer briefs ever. While the cotton on each is soft, the praise ends there. There's way too much material in the crotch area and that combined with the thickness of the material makes for bunching plus heat and moisture retention. I found myself constantly trying to "adjust" and squirming in my chair.Even worse, the thigh hems have little to no elastic but rather a double-layer of the already thick material. This means that with any movement at all, like putting your pants on or taking a step, that hem moves up your thigh where it remains until you pull it back down. After a day at the office, when you get home and take your pants off, what you'll see can best be compared to what an infant looks like wearing a cloth diaper; a bunched up, wrinkled and damp wad of cotton material covering your groin area - sexy right? So you know, I primarily wear loose/relaxed-fit blue jeans which have plenty of space in the thigh and crotch area.Normally, with clothing I buy online that I end up not liking for whatever reason, I'll donate the items to Goodwill. But with these (unused pairs), I just couldn't do it as I worried about my Karma. The good news, being 100% cotton, after shredding they composted just fine.
