I put these on my 1st Gen Tacoma to hold my ARE camper shell (Z-Series) in place. The bed rail on the Tacoma is very narrow and these work perfectly. Very sturdy hold. Once installed, you have to say the mandatory phrase to ensure they work correctly. You HAVE to look at the clamps and say "Yeah....that's not going anywhere!"

Does what they need to do. I used these on a Gator cover to attach it to the existing truck rails on a 2020 Ram 1500 (5'7 bed). They _barely_ fit on the rail (one touches the side slightly) which means over time they will likely scratch the paint - this is the reason for taking off a star. Luckily, it is under the rail where fairly well protected. Very strong and far better than what came with the cover.

Appears to be heavyweight and durable. Unfortunately unable to use, due to shallow topper ledge that didnt allow a good grip. Will continue to use C-clamps.
