Dr. MartensUnisex 3989 Bex Leather Shoe

i have been eyeing these shoes for about 2 months now, and finally i got them with my christmas money😁😁 one of my favorite purchases ever. these are absolutely beautiful & i love that they are unisex! my bf needs a pair, i know he’ll look absolutely handsome in these. i was afraid of the sizing becaise of all the reviews, i don’t know my size for female but for male i am a 6 according to my vans. so i got a 5 and miraculously they fit perfectlyyy😋 i think those who are half sizes have a bit more trouble finding the perfect size:(. these are very hard/ sturdy in a good way. these are some minor flaws (?) at least that is what they look like to me, but nothing someone can notice passing by or standing around. these do seem to be a return as well as one of the shoe obviously looks untied & tried on. besides that they are very pretty. worth the money🤍🖤 happy new years🥰

I normally wear an 8 1/2 and read that these run a bit large. I ordered the 8 (6 UK) and they were still a smidgen too big. I purchased some inserts and that took care of the problem, though I do have some room in the toe but it doesn't affect my gait and the space is nice since my toes don't get cramped. The leather though is VERY stiff and this shoe takes some time to break in - using band-aids for the heel and working the tongue to soften it up. Just after a few wearings I can tell that they are breaking in and becoming comfortable though the heel on the right is still a bit stiff. These shoes do get noticed by people - I've had a lot of compliments on them and I do like the way they look with dress pants as well as jeans.Very well made, sturdy, comfortable once they are broken in, and stylish - but if you're a half-size definitely order down!

These look like the pictures. I have bought a pair and had to exchange them because they were dented or damaged. They're pretty comfortable too.I'd complain about the shipping though. Like the other ones that were damaged, it was just a thin cardboard not really fit to be called a shoe box inside of a large mailing bag. They should have been double boxed. The box is pretty much unusable.

The things I like the most about the 3989 is old school look, you can wear these at work, a function, date night, out running errands. They are rigid, and the leather on should ease up once you wear and walk around in them to a couple times. I wear a 13 US and bought 12 US because of the reviews stated they run large so buy a size down. Good thing I listened.

These shoes are everything I dreamed they'd be.

EN- Even though I will not be able to use these shoes because the seller Netrush decided to send a size down that requested in the purchase and I'll not be able to request a refund or exchange because I live outside the United States and the return shipping would cost me the same as the shoes, I must say that as a user of the brand for some time and having different shoes models, this shoes doesnt look like a Dr. Marteens even though it says it is 100% leader, the texture is extremely hard and has a plastic appearance, it didnt come with its box which could call into question its origin and the finish isnt as the usual quality of the brand. I had these shoes in my cart for months and in the end it was a totally unwise purchase, because of the expectations of the shoes but principally because of the bad experience with the seller's decision not to send the requested size.ES- A pesar de que no podré utilizar estos zapatos porque el vendedor Netrush decidió enviar un size por debajo al solicitado en la compra y que no podré solicitar el reembolso o el cambio porque vivo fuera de los Estados Unidos y el envío devuelta me costaría lo mismo que me costaron los zapatos, debo decir que ya siendo usuaria de la marca desde hace un tiempo y teniendo diferentes modelos de zapatos este calzado no luce como un Dr. Marteens a pesar de que dice que es 100% leader la textura es extremadamente dura y tiene una apariencia plástica, no vino con su caja lo cual pudiese poner en duda la procedencia del mismo y la terminación no es de la calidad acostumbrada de la marca. Tuve estos zapatos en mi carrito durante meses y al final ha sido una compra totalmente desacertada primero por la expectativa de los zapatos pero primeramente por la mala experiencia con la decisión del vendedor de no enviar el size solicitado.

Fit exactly how I thought they should... they are slightly narrow on my but I have a wide foot so I expected this and they will stretch.I love how they are high soled and they are comfortable out of the box. If you are afraid that they are like dr martens boots and need breaking in, don't be. At least mine we're fine out of the box. I have owned 5 paids of dr martens boots. These are the most comfortable out of the box. With that being said, I still probably would no wear them to Disneyland or any place with excess amount of walking the first time you wear them.

I LOVE these shoes. They run very big so order a size down. I wear 8 1/2 in tennis shoes and shoes so men's 6 was the perfect size for my feet. I added an insert as I wear them in all my shoes. A previous reviewer said they were stiff and yes they are but like any true leather shoe the leather will relax and conform to your foot. They're very well made and high quality. I can't wait to wear them with my cute work uniforms. I'm 46 and my friends loved these shoes. I wish they made more colors like navy & cream or brown & cream.
