I got these for my daughter for valentines day. She wore them to school the next day. The post fell off the butterfly on one of them about half an hour after she got to school. The post isn't a post with a flat end that you can glue it back together either. So much money for a gift that fell apart in a day. I was so sad for her that this happened.

These are stunning earrings that really stand out. The craftsmanship is excellent, they used high quality sterling silver to form the Monarch and it’s covered with gems that sparkle intensely under bright light. They are fairly large earrings, but comfortable to wear. The backing works perfectly to hold them in place. They are great earrings that are exactly as described.
