MACPaint Pot Soft Ochre

I have been using MAC products for years and this is by far and large the best quality base for eyes. I stumbled across it a few years ago in a department store when buying cosmetics. The salesperson asked if I needed a base or brushes etc and I share no I use pressed powder. The salesperson showed me how to use it and since then, if it is a ‘full face day’, I apply this under my eyeshadow as a base and there is no creasing, fading or bleeding of shadows.Just a small amount applied with a makeup brush, blended with a makeup sponge and set with loose powder does the trick. It takes less than two minutes to prep my eyes for shadow and I have a flawless look until I am ready to clean my face in the evening.These little jars will last a long time. I buy one maybe once every 6-8 months- I don’t wear makeup everyday-and it doesn’t get hard or cakey but is soft and creamy and ready to be used. It may be a bit expensive for a base product but will be worth the cost use-wise.

I tried every primer from drugstore to higher end eye primers. I love this product for my mature, creased eyelids.I love how it prevents creasing, and serves as a smooth eye palette for my eyeshadow. My eyeshadow stays perfect all day and night!

This is FAB-U-LOUS!!!!! I have small eyes where my eye lids fold into themselves. For the reason, it is EXTREMELY hard for my eye shadows and eye liners not to smudge a line in the middle of my eye. This not only conceals the veins I have on my eyelids but it is the best primer I have ever use. My eye shadows and liners DO NOT MOVE!!! It seems expensive but I have had this now for over a month and have used it everyday on my eyes. I barely have anything gone. It lasts all day and is super easy to apply. This is a miracle product! I couldn't be happier!

This is a very pretty and neutral color for eyes. It's a bit more drying than I would like -- but I should note that I do have very sensitive and dry skin around my eyes, so this issue could be particular to only me. It does work well as an eyeshadow base to keep eye color on throughout the day.

I have a worn powder eyeshadow for years, but recently made the change to this product, and I love it! Why did it take me so long to discover this eyeshadow? This lasts all day and night long. Until you take it off. The color is great as well. No creases just beautiful coverage.

I am thrilled with this! The product I had been using was either discontinued or out of stock. So I thought I'd try something new. I am in love with this eye base! It lasts and lasts and lasts. I've used it as a base for my eye powder shadow - and it hold the entire day and evening. I've also used it alone and it lasts well into the evening. This is so soft going on and it doesn't pull on the delicate skin when applied. Use a nice brush and you'll be thrilled as well!
