Be cautious!
Please be cautious!!!Bought 2 of these bones for Christmas gifts for our 10 month old Weimaraner and our 4 year old beagle. They were able to quickly chew/eat these - did not seem to stand up to either of them chewing on them. They are both suffering from extreme gas, indigestion, diarrhea, and are both now throwing up. The vomit is full of tiny bits of the bone - not large chunks that would be unable to digest. I feel absolutely awful - these were suppose to be fun presents for them to enjoy for weeks and even months and should not cause them such discomfort.

My dog had had to be hospitalized because of a blockage from this product
I have a German Shepherd who got a bad blockage because of this toy. I bought it because it was a fairly large chew toy meant for moderate chewers like her. One of these would last her for months. It was marketed as "small granules are safe and to be expected" but the vet found more than just granules in her small intestine. After being hospitalized, and numerous x-rays later, thankfully she finally passed it on her own.Several hundred bucks later I have my dog back at home. The bone has been thrown away. I will NEVER buy one of these again. Unless you want your dog to go through what mine did, I DON'T RECOMMEND THEM!And yes she was supervised while chewing on this. She's always supervised.

Bad bone
The dog loved it, the only problem is when it gets slobbery it starts to fall apart into pieces and the dog eats it. He was sick all night and he has never been sick from any bone before. I threw it away.

Silly me!
I wish I had paid better attention, I didnt realize this wasn't for aggressive chewers! My dogs LOVED it, but as heavy chewers as they are, it lasted a few weeks. It's a shame because it was their favorite of the three Pet Qwerks bones I purchased.Any moderate chewer would have a great time with this. It wouldn't be bad for an older dog either because it is so soft.Just ordered two more Pet Qwerks bones today! And made sure I got the aggressive chew ones!

Dogs love but can bite off large chunks
Dogs love it, but they can bite off large chunks at a time too big to swallow. Even my little 10 pound dogs bite off chunks too large to swallow. Which of course they all try too swallow them.

It's been about 2 weeks since Monkey's been chewing on it and it's pretty durable for a moderate chewer like him
Monkey is a beast when it comes to chewing. When my friend told me about this product I was intrigued. Monkey is usually given raw hide with some peanut butter applied to a side as treat, but with this barkbone, peanut butter is already combined with the wood. The product arrived quickly and Monkey went at it with his new bone. I underestimated the size of the bone because it's slightly too big or heavy for him to carry around. However, he'll drag it to his bed and get at it while double-pawing the bone. It's been about 2 weeks since Monkey's been chewing on it and it's pretty durable for a moderate chewer like him. Monkey is about 23 lbs.

They are just like the nylon bones.
We have a boxer and a Bulldog-Boxer 9 month old. Neither one likes the bones, even though they are flavored. Upon receiving them, I thought they were the nylon bones that my girls don’t like either. For me it was a total waste of money. I’m sure they share durability and longevity, but I’ll never know.🥴

Dog loves them
My dog loves these bones. I wish they werent plastic. It concerns me that she chews on it and swallows the tiny plastic pieces that come off. I guess it's supposed to be that way but still makes me nervous which is why i removed a star. 4 stars because she likes them and it keeps her occupied.
