Works, but note it's rather Dell custom
I was expecting a few Dell customizations, but this MB takes the cake. It has a non-standard mini-ATX connector (so you'll need an adapter). The BIOS on the one I got was very old (A5 vs "current" 2018 is A15). Even with BIOS updates, the limit is 4x2G sticks, and it's VERY picky. The fans are not just required, but also have Dell specific pinouts (CPU, case, and power supply). It also expects a thermistor connected, which monitors power supply temperature. And of course, the front panel attachment is also required. Miss and of it, and it stops at boot for input (no BIOS override). And of course the form factor is non-standard. It fit in the SFF case I had, but the inputs and slots are reversed, making the back panel cover useless. I see now why Dell systems are so frowned on.

Used part sold to me as new
This was advertised as a new part. It came in a used electrostatic bag, unsealed. The processor socket cover was not the Dell factory plastic cover as pictured in the advertisement, it was a piece of cardboard from a box taped over the socket. This was my second motherboard, the first one was Dead On Arrival. I installed it, and saw further proof the board was used. On Dell Optiplex 960 motherboards, like most Optiplex boards for years, has a place to type in an Asset Tag for large organizations to use. This can only be set once by the end user, and always comes from Dell blank. This board had an Asset Tag stored. Also, the motherboard error log showed that it had been in service for at least 9 months, based on the errors listed. I ordered a new part and got a refurbished part. FALSE ADVERTISING. Not a bad price for a used motherboard, but it needs to be advertised as used, not new.
