Laffy Taffy Banana Rope, 0.81 Oz., 24Count (Pack Of 12)

Package arrived today and it is exactly what it said it would be 12 packs of 24 laffy taffy banana ropes. I bought them to take on a family trip in a few weeks but opened them so I could test them out. They taste just like the ones I've bought from other places in the past and I think they are pretty fresh.

Let me start with, I love banana laffy taffy! This was not fresh. But the real shocker is that I had posted a question asking if this was for 12 boxes before I spent over $35, because surely this isn’t just 1 box for that price, right? WRONG!

They were hard

Yea you get a lot but it’s a lot of hard and stale candy that could break teeth (no joke I chipped my tooth) don’t buy

The first pack opened was hard as a rock so I tried another one a d another one in case it was a bad batch. Well I stopped after opening four packs as they were all ridiculously hard and stale tasting. The ones I received were not fresh at all. This appeared to even alter the flavor. I just had some amazingly fresh ones from another seller so there is no doubt I got a bad case full. So disappointed! This is why I rated 1 star for value, as well as for freshness and flavor. I tried returning, but looks like I’ll need to reach out to customer service as it says this item is not eligible for return.

All boxes of laffy taffy is super hard.. Suppose to be chewy not hard as a rock..
