Works great. Needed to keep my arms safe/scratch-free while working in an animal hospital prior to our wedding. Probably would not have been effective against bites, but did the job I needed it to. Does tend to get warm and itchy, but not terrible.

Keeps the arms from getting scrapped, but offers little padding, so it does not help with blunt force. Would be even better if they offered plastic inserts and pouch on the sleeve to insert them into (like they do with armored vest).
