I have keys that often need to be detached from my larger ring and this fit the bill perfectly. It was difficult to find this type of key trying in my area but I was able to get a package quickly to supplement the one I was using. They work great and my original has lasted for many years. Great value and function fit the price.

I have been able to move keys around when taking different vehicles. Like a gym fob or keys to family’s home. The multiple sets work well interchangeably.

I've used this type of key ring for years and have gotten used to "managing" my keys this way. My wife and I prefer to carry as few keys as possible on a single key ring whenever we go anyplace as opposed to having a pocket-full (purse-full) of different keys/key rings. Because we have more than two cars in our family, we definitely aren't going to carry keys for all of the vehicles that we might use anytime we go somewhere. Nor are we going to take the time to work the appropriate car keys on and off the key ring every time we change vehicles. That's where this kind of key ring come in handy. On one end of the key ring I keep my home/office keys. On each of several key rings that match the other end I keep the car keys for each of our vehicles. Whenever I plan on going anywhere, I simply unhook the keys that are on the key ring, attach the keys for the car I plan on taking and head out the door..Part of the key ring I've ben using for some time now finally wore out and I started looking for a replacement. Because of the way I use the key ring I had several parts from the old key ring left over that were still useable, so my biggest concern when buying these key rings was whether they were interchangeable with older versions of the same kind of ring. Fortunately, they were - so I didn't need to buy more than I needed.Now, there have been several comments from other reviewers about these key rings being 1) cheaply made; 2) sticking; and 3) falling apart. 1) - Cheaply Made - Definitely. (We live in a world where it's either "Made in China" or made of plastic and aluminum instead of steel, or both). It's not as hefty as my old key ring, but it still works for what I need it to do. 2) - Sticking - Looks like a lot of the sticking was due to grooves and edges left behind by machining the body of the key ring. In my case it got smoother the more I took it apart and put it back together. 3) - Falling Apart - I haven't had this problem. It would be wonderful if Amazon could track failure rates on products. Overall I'm satisfied with the product and I thank the folks who spent the time writing about the problems they experienced.

Difficult to get the key for my Dodge Durango on the ring, Finaly got it on bit key ring is now sprung outward about 3/16" due to size of key requiring wide opening to get the key onto the ring. KEYS FOR LATE MODEL KEYS ARE THICKER.

They feel kinda flimsy and cheap, but if one breaks you've got a few more to spare.

The media could not be loaded.  Locking mechanism lasted for a single day. Keys just fall out now.Edit: one of the four units was defective, the other three are working for now
