This is a wonderful little guide
This is a wonderful little guide. Some thoughts slightly outdated re the use of treats in training. But this is excellent little book for breeders to give to or suggest to clients. Housebreaking requires that humans be extremely disciplined for a few months and this guide spells that out in easy to understand instructions.

i highly recommend this book
as a veterinarian who also trains dogs and clients, i highly recommend this book. it's the same type of method i use, and i recommend it to any client getting a puppy or new dog.it is short and to the point, is clear and simply presented, and if followed closely, works great-- to a T!!

Don't waste your money
Very disappointing. I've read web articles that were more informative. This is a pamphlet, not a book. Don't waste your money.

Don't get a puppy without getting this book!
This is the best book I've ever used for housetraining dogs. It is so quick to read, easy to learn, and absolutely foolproof if you follow it to the letter. The technique takes a bit of effort, but saves untold time and frustration in the long run. I do dog rescue and have used this method for puppies and for adult dogs and it works every time. Most recently I used it for an adult male who felt he needed to mark in the house. Even with this behavioral issue the techniques in this book worked and resolved the issue for which this dog had been surrendered. I am convinced that if everyone getting a puppy followed the simple instructions in this book the number of dogs being surrendered to shelters would decrease dramatically.
