You Must Download STEAM to Play.
A pathetic farce. The DVD (not even in the original packaging, it looks generic) requires you to download and install STEAM. The reason I purchased the DVD is because I want to avoid having to download FREAKING STEAM or download ANYTHING from the internet. I'm an old-school PC gamer (50 Years Old), I WANT MY GAMES ON CD DARN IT! I want to own my games and have them on DVD. Nowadays everyone is online, even our software. We need to "log in" to use the software we purchased. I HATE THAT!Understand, if you purchase this DVD you're going to have to install STEAM, a heavy, clunky game interface middleman software. Complete trash. Purchasing this was like flushing it down the latrine.

Trying to get any Total War Game to work has always been a difficult effort. Medieval 2 is no different. Total War games do not install smoothly on the first attempt. The Publishers do not support the needs of their customers nor do they clearly address problems they have with their games either during install or when you run up against bugs. They are constantly patched and are better supported by modders than they are by the their own company. If you're not good at solving problems and figuring out how to install something that simply will not install quickly, you're going to have problems and be frustrated. I give this a 1 out of 10 , 1 being worst.

En forma avivando las llamas de la batalla
Quienes leéis mis reseñas sabréis que siempre soy honesto con mis reviews, esta no va a ser menos. Un auténtico derroche de imaginación y mecánicas. Muy buenos argumentos y muy buena recreación de los escenarios. Este juego tiene de las mejores configuraciones, sistemas de estratégicas y mecánicas de entre todos los total War que existen. Ya quisiera yo que mi vida funcionase al mismo ritmo que los turnos en este juego. Ya me gustaría a mí manejar mi vida con la proactividad y liderazgo que dirijo yo las hordas imperiales, que desgraciado soy que en lugar de criar hijos desarrollo ejércitos virtuales que no existen y nadie le importa. Eso sí, de haberme conocido, el rey Jorge estaría orgulloso de tener una mano derecha estratega como la mía.
