If your Jeep Wrangler was originally a soft top and you are adding a hard top you will need this kit to properly secure the freedom roof panels. I received my brackets today and installed them in about an hour. The front is harder than the rear, but if you have small hands it will be easier. My hands are not even close to small, but I was able to do the install without breaking anything. I have posted pictures to help with the orientation of the brackets. It's easy to install them upside down (yes I did). I didn't take pictures of the rear brackets, because they are very simple. Overall this is a great solution and has all the hardware you need to complete the install. If anyone needs help feel free to ask and I will be happy to guide you through it.

I added a used hardtop to my 2019 Jeep Wrangler. Like many, I discovered that the soft top original was missing 4 brackets to completely bolt down the front covers. (Note: you can use the hard top temporarily without these additional brackets, but it is quieter and more secure with them.) My dealer installed the wiring harness for the hardtop, and they recommended used OEM brackets from eBay that would cost >$300. Instead, I bought these aftermarket ones and they worked perfectly for 1/3 the price. As others have wrote, they are metal, not plastic, and exceptionally high quality. Install took me an hour, and that is only because I kept dropping the screws. If I had an extra pair of hands this would have been 20 minutes. There are no instructions in the package, but there is one attached to the amazon web site. If you read that it is straight forward. One thing I would add is that if you are adding these to a soft top original jeep you will need to remove two plastic inserts from where the brackets go in the front headliner. These come off using allen tool (don't try to snap them off like I originally did.) Typical jeep challenge in that every screwhead is different. You will need two allen bits for the brackets, a different allen bit to take off the plastic insert from the front head liner, and a star shaped bit (I think it is a t20 or t15) to take off the rear head liner.

You can just feel the quality when you pick up the individual items.I had an issue with an overhead molle panel that I installed, with the OEM brackets on the back part that hold the freedom panels down. Reading the reviews of the panel and searching online, this is a known issue with the ‘24 and up models, including the Wrangler.Well, I replaced the rear OEM brackets with these, and no more leaks of water!! I tried almost everything I could think of, before the replacement with the DV8 brackets. Nothing would stop the leaking, until I used these brackets.

Really great product, durable and well made, much cheaper than stock with the same results. Only gripe is there were no installation instructions provided.

Just what I needed, a good price

Arrived promptly, surprised by how heavy the metal was. Installed in about two hours due to the design of my jeep Rubicon. Replaced missing brackets after purchasing three piece factory hard top. Cost was way lower than O.E.M. and about equal or better quality.
