A few things you should know before purchasing this product so you have more realistic expectations and better outcome.1- The puzzle is sent without an image of what the puzzle is. If sending as a gift you will need to send the image to your recipient. The photograph in the ad is misleading. You get chunks of unseparated puzzle pieces in an unmarked plastic box.2- The puzzle comes from China wrapped in an unpadded plastic bag. There is not enough protection for the plastic box inside. We bought 2 puzzles at the same time, one arrived smashed. Seller did give a fair partial refund.3- More needs to be included in the description about what images enlarge better than others. The puzzle that had graphics, lines, bright colors, and words was easier to put together than the other which was a photograph of a person holding a bouquet of flowers. Both images were sent with high resolution but the enlarging of the photograph lost some detail in the process. I recommend doing some research about what images work best for this process. Or hopefully the seller will add more info.4- Your enlarged photograph is printed on paper affixed to a thin veneer of balsa wood which give the pieces a sturdy quality with a good fit/snap.5- This is a clever, unique, and personalized gift idea which is very appealing.6- The seller is courteous and timely in communicating and did address my dissatisfaction with the broken item so I would recommend doing business with them so long as you know about the above.

I ordered this puzzle as a fun 1st anniversary gift for my wife. It may be corny, but I thought why not do something paper-based for the first and carry on with the traditional gifts. Unfortunately, the backing is not the paperboard that I was expecting. Instead, it's a type of plywood. This will likely prove great for durability, but ruins my idea. I don't plan on holding on to it for four more years, so I'll just have to scrap that idea.I purchased on April 18 and received it May 6. It shipped from China in a hard plastic container inside of a plastic mailing bag. There was no padding, so the plastic container was damaged in transit.The puzzle itself did not come completely disassembled. I'm going through that process now. The 1000 piece puzzle came in 16 or 17 sheets. Taking it a part is tedious because not all of the cuts were complete - I'd put the number at anywhere from 5 to 10%.No print of the final product was included, so plan on providing that if you're using this as a gift or just letting them go at it blind.

I like this puzzle a lot. However, some of the pieces came still connected together tightly, and were difficult to break apart without the custom picture disconnecting from the backing (thus damaging the edges of the puzzle piece). I wish they would spend more care into the product and check this before sending.

So, first it took months to get!!! Then when I got it it wasn’t in pieces. It took me an hour to break it up!! I had a couple pieces break but for the most part it was just time intensive. Those are my only two things about it I wanted people to know before they bought it.

The overall ordering process was easy and the 1000 piece puzzle was fun to put together except that I clearly am not image designers. I made a collage of different pictures of our puppies but put too many and the colors of each were too similar so it took way longer to complete than expected. I would totally use them again and next time, I know to pay attention to the image layout!

Very satisfied with the end result. It took much longer to receive than anticipated (ended up being mfg in China and shipped std US mail). Also, it was packaged in 4 or 5 blocks of the puzzle and I needed to break it apart (then mix it up). Minor detail and I overlooked it - to me this was not a issue. For best quality, I do recommend sending a hi-resolution photo preferable in the size of the puzzle you would like. If you include a photo and the company needs to enlarge it to the puzzle size, the quality of the photo will be low and pixelated.

It took a while to get shipped but it looks good. The box came with the picture of the puzzle pin top. The pieces are contained in a plastic bag. We noticed a few (1-2%) are assembled but I've seen that in 'normal' puzzles.

Wow, I'm really disappointed with this purchase. My husband had purchased 3 for me for Mother's Day, they arrived about a month late. They each were in a cheap plastic see through box, one of which was cracked open. None of them included the photo of what the finished product would look like, making it extremely difficult to put together when you don't know what you're working towards.It was about a month after finally receiving that I attempted to put one together, they were already to put together in large portions which enabled me to put the entire thing together in about 2 minutes (because my husband showed me which photo he had sent in). The wood is super thick and once I out it together, I couldn't get it apart, the covers actually ripped as I tried to separate them. I ended up rolling it up like you would a rug or poster and the whole thing stayed together in the role. I attempted to return but it says I'm past the date that I'm permitted to return.
